<p>The Legacy Volleyball Center continued their strong start to the 2019 club season, earning a pair of championships at the 2019 Central Zone Invitational last weekend in Indianapolis. Michigan Elite, Unified, FIVE1 and other programs also had standout performances in their respective divisions. Here’s a breakdown of how the state of Michigan performed last weekend.</p>
<p><strong>18 Open: </strong>Legacy 18-Elite continue their amazing start to the 2019 club season by winning their second consecutive out-of-state Open title. Legacy went 14-0 in sets over seven matches, topping Asics KIVA 18 Red 25-17, 25-23 in the final. Asics has been near the top of many 18 Club national rankings.</p>
<p><strong>16 Open: </strong>Michigan Elite 16 Mizuno went 5-1 for the weekend and finished tied for fifth.</p>
<p><strong>15 Open: </strong>Legacy 15-Elite reached the semifinals of the division before losing to Lions 15-1, 25-14, 27-25. Michigan Elite 15 Mizuno finished tied for fifth.</p>
<p><strong>14 Open: </strong>Legacy 14-Elite finished second on the weekend, overcoming some tough three-set matches along the way. They fell to Asics KIVA 14 Red in the final, 25-16, 25-22.</p>
<p><strong>18 Premier: </strong>FIVE1 VBC 18-Adidas reached the semifinals before falling in three sets to CVC 18 Black.</p>
<p><strong>17 Premier: </strong>Legacy 17-National took home the championship with an 8-0 match record and 16-0 set record. Legacy defeated Prime Time 17 Blue in the final, 25-16, 25-23. Michigan Elite 17 Elite East and Unified 17-1 both finished tied for fifth.</p>
<p><strong>16 Premier: </strong>Legacy 16-National and Michigan Elite 16 Elite West both reached the semifinals before bowling out.</p>
<p><strong>15 Premier: </strong>Unified 15-1 finished tied for fifth.</p>
<p><strong>14 Premier: </strong>Legacy 14-National finished tied for fifth</p>
<p><strong>18 Club: </strong>High Street 18 Smack claimed the championship with an 8-0 record on the weekend. High Street topped Club Unite 17/18 Select in the final, 25-14, 25-23.</p>
<p><strong>17 Club: </strong>Attack VBC 17 U Black and High Street 17 Hawaiian both finished tied for fifth.</p>
<p><strong>17 Club Red: </strong>FIVE1 VBC 17-Blue finished in fifth place.</p>
<p><strong>14 Club Blue: </strong>FIVE1 VBC 14-Blue finished tied for fifth on the weekend.</p>
