Iowa and Minnesota Athletes Benefitting From Kairos Elite in Sioux Falls
Northwest Iowa and Southwest Minnesota may not have the luxury of being extremely close to a metro area, but the athletes in these areas have taken advantage of the training at Kairos Elite Volleyball out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota which has produced some elite level college athletes and is continuing to grow under club director, Mitch Lunning who started the program in 2012.
In this year’s 2019 graduating class, their 18s squad has three athletes from the Great Lakes area in Payton Ahrenstorff and Mikia Kriener from Spirit Lake and Taylor Meyer from Lake Park. Kendall Evans, who also competes in the Lakes Conference against Ahrenstorff and Kriener for Estherville-Lincoln Central played for Kairos as well.
This year’s incoming Senior class, the Class of 2020 has athletes from Minnesota and Iowa who will be looking for really strong seasons with Jordan Hamm and Emma Loveall of Spirit Lake. Hamm, Loveall, and Alaina Wolff of Jackson Co. Central out of Jackson, MN were able to play on the top 18s team gaining valuable experience. Loveall is one of the most recent commits who has given her verbal to play for UW-Milwaukee (NCAA Division 1) in the Horizon League. Spirit Lake has quite the list of athletes who are receiving the training and can be making a strong push to be quite the contender in the Lakes Conference and Class 3A.
