<p>Assumption senior middle blocker Rylee Rader was the first student-athlete to sign a national letter of intent for Ohio State's latest recruiting class. </p>
<p>Prior to signing with Ohio State, Rader received offers from numerous college volleyball programs. The final two colleges Rader considered were Ohio State and Florida. </p>
<p>Rader helped to lead Assumption to three straight state championships. As a junior, Rader was named All-USA Volleyball Player of the Year by USA Today after helping the Rockets to a 43-0 record and a No. 1 national ranking. In 2018, Rader earned numerous All-American honors. Rader was chosen as Kentucky’s Gatorade Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018. The 2018 Ms. Kentucky Volleyball, Rader was named First Team All-State and an Under Armour All-American following her senior season. </p>
<p>Rader spent her club career with KIVA, helping another tradition-rich program thrive.</p>
<p>In addition to Rader, opposite hitter Emily Londot, who starred at Utica High School (Ohio), signed with the Ohio State volleyball program. </p>
<p>Ohio State competes in the Big Ten Conference, along with Wisconsin, Nebraska, Penn State, Minnesota, Purdue, Michigan, Illinois, Michigan State, Maryland, Northwestern, Iowa, Indiana and Rutgers. </p>
