Dana Retke, Jr. 6’8″ MB, Riverside Brookfield, 1st Alliance VBC
Named as an America Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) first-team selection as well as the 2019 Big Ten Player of the Year, Dana leads this highly talented and motivated team into the NCAA Tournament championship match. Retke comes from the First Alliance Lions Juniors program and is one of the best players in Riverside Brookfield’s history.
Receiving multiple accolades, she was a 2017 and 2018 First-Team All-American as well as 2017 AVCA National Freshman of the Year. Dana leads the team and is fifth in the Big Ten with 3.77 Kills per set. She also trained with the U.S. National Team during the summer of 2019, competing in five FIVB matches.
Against #1 Baylor, Retke had 19 Kills, 8 total blocks, 3 service aces and two digs in the four set win.
A 2019 First Team All-Big Ten selection, Grace is third on the team with 3.16 kills per set average. She was also named to the 2019AVCA Northeast All-Region Team. 2019 NCAA AVCA Honorable Mention.
Against Baylor, Loberg had 7 kills and 3 block assists for a total of 8.5 points.
Molly Haggerty, Jr, 6’1, OH, St. Francis, Sports Performance VBC
A 2019 Second Team All Big-Ten Selection, Molly has played in 103 sets, second on the team with 3.50 kills per set and finished eighth in the Big Ten in kills per set (3.48). In the semi-final match, Molly had 15 kills, 9 digs, and two block assists.
Lauren Barnes, Jr, 5’6, DS/L, Benet Academy
Transferred from Minnesota, she is making her way in Madison. Lauren played in 97 sets, averaging 2.57 digs per set, second-highest on the team. A member of the 2019 U.S. Volleyball team that competed at the World University Games in Naples, Italy.
In four sets against Baylor, Barnes had seven digs and one service ace.
In 2019, Tiffany leads the team with 3.83 digs per set. A 2018 AVCA Honorable Mention All-American, transferred in from Michigan. Tiffany was also a member of the 2017 U.S. Junior National team, winning a gold medal at the Pan Am Cup
