She had 18 kills in the state championship match, where she led her team to the 4A title. She is also an amazing defender and proves time and time again why she is the top-ranked player in the state. She is competitive and explosive on the court and a huge leader.

Ellie is simply amazing to watch. I got to see her play at the Prep Dig Gauntlet this year and she was electric on the court. Her efficiency is next level, and she can execute consistently from anywhere on the court. Her power and vertical and crazy-impressive. Ellie is one of the top athletes in the country and what sets her apart is her speed, accuracy, and consistency in pass to attack and transition.

Ellie is the #1 ranked athlete in this class and one of the top athletes in the country as well. This Michigan commit is dominant in all six rotations and is incredibly efficient on the court. She has been a varsity-level athlete all four years in high school. Ellie was 1st Team All-State last year and is well on her way to another All-State selection. She currently has 160 kills, 10 aces, 18 solo blocks, 86 digs, and 162 service receptions.

I remember White as being one of those players every coach wishes they had 4 of. She has great hands and is super athletic. White is fast, explosive, and takes an aggressive approach. She also has a number of shots and knows just when to use them.

She is the type of player that will stop you in your tracks when you are walking around a tournament and make you say “wow.” Her power is not the only thing that sets Ellie apart on the court though. She is a high level player in all of her skills and is competitive and motivated on the court.

It only seems fair that we immediately transition from Ohio State to Michigan. White is a future Wolverine who can take on a variety of on-court roles, from running the offense at the setter spot to shouldering six-rotation responsibilities as an outside hitter. It’s been a treat to watch all of White’s skills flourish, both with 1st Alliance and the Mighty Macs.
