After a college volleyball season, there are plenty of circumstances that create a need for certain programs. There are injuries, coaching changes, transfers, the list goes on. Here are some athletes from multiple states who would definitely be a key pick up at the next level.
Sarah Griffith – Adversity 18 Adidas (IL)
Griffith is a 6’2 middle blocker who will be apart of a high-level squad in Adversity 18 Adidas. This team didn’t claim the bid this past weekend, but they have the pieces to the puzzle to make a strong push as the season continues. The training she will continue to have along with her athlete and dynamic ability to score points and defend at the net would be a welcome addition at the next level.
Rachel Schneider – Mizuno M1 171 (MN)
Schneider is from the Class of 2020, but is on a really talented M1 171 squad comprised of mostly 2021 athletes. That doesn’t take away from Schneider could do for a program at the next level as a middle or a right side. She has a big arm, can move from pin to pin to close the block and is able to score points in a variety of ways.
Amber Weltha – IPVA 18 Black (IA)
Weltha on the right for IPVAWeltha brings a lot of athleticism and physicality to an IPVA team that has plenty of college bound talent going to the Division 1 and Division 2 level. With Weltha playing around these really strong athletes throughout this 2020 season, she will definitely gain valuable experience which will make her a great pick up at the next level. She can put up a solid block works hard in transition to make herself available to hit out of the middle.
Emma Powell – Iowa Select 18 Mizuno
Iowa Select bounced back from a tough pool in Day 1 and one of the main point scorers for this team is Emma Powell who knows how to pin and score points by using a mix of shots. With the ability to play six rotations, serve receive, and score. Looking forward to seeing Powell and her teammates take the court once again when they host the Tour of Iowa (Stop #1) where Prep Dig will be providing full coverage.
Madi Lynch – Club Ignit Select (IA)
Lynch brings some hops to the middle blocker position for Club Ignit Select out of the Des Moines area. With, athletic, and managing to get a touch on plenty of swings, Lynch is a middle who can be utilized to speed up an offense and add to the overall athleticism in the gym.

Addison Preston – Milwaukee Sting 18 Black (WI)
Karli Johnson settingPreston punched her ticket to Nationals being part of the Milwaukee Sting 18 Black squad that finished second overall in the USA Division. Preston is on point with her setting being able to set a variety of tempos in front and behind. She’s quick to the ball, can read the other side of the net and can find a way to get her team to score.
Karli Johnson – Milwaukee Sting 18 White (WI)
Johnson also punched her ticket with Sting 18 White, winning the American Division this past weekend. Johnson is just steady, reliable, consistent, and one who knows how to put her team in a position to win. Part of a successful high school program, Johnson would be a great fit at the next level especailly in a 6-2 system where she can put it exactly where her attackers need it to score points.
Peyton Frost – Epic United 18 Rox (IL)
I really liked the style of play that Frost provides to her squad as a really springy outside who can score points. She demonstrated that she can take what the block gives her going down the line or sharp cross. This Epic United 18 Rox team has a really talented squad who will be fun to track throughout the season.
Kendra Battle – Cyclones 18 Black Adidas (IL)
Battle can play six rotations being able to serve receive and attack from the front and backrow. She brings a really heavy left-handed swing from the right side that is hard to get a clean touch whether its breaking though a block or just having the pace to have a really clean reception from. Cyclones 18 Adidas is a really scrappy team that had matches against Club Ignit Select and Epic United that could have gone either way.
Baylie Hansen – Impact 18 National (WI)
Hansen has a presence about her where she is 6’3 and incredibly strong in the front row. Impact 18 National out of Appleton is definitely a club who can make some noise after having a really strong weekend advancing to the championship bracket losing to the eventual runner-up as well as Sting 18 White who won the championship. With a heavy left-handed swing and strong block, Hansen has a big upside that would be more than welcome at the next level.
