Kendra Marshall, 2021, MH, Normal Community,
Illini Elite
17 White, Uncommitted
Illini Elite
17 White lost in the final of the 17/18 Club Division to SMV 18-1 Black, 25-18, 25-22, but gave them a hard fight to the finish. Kendra maintained her strong blocking ability through the tournament and will be a solid front row player for NCHS next season.
Alaina Bradburn, 2021, MH, Hartsburg-Emden,
Illini Elite
17 White, Uncommitted
Another player that might be under the radar to college scouts is Alaina Bradburn. The middle hitter from Hartsburg- Emden has good ball placement with her attack and knows when to tip the ball if the need arises.
Leah Bylut, 2021, L, Shephard, Sports Performance 17 C-Fed, Uncommitted
In three seasons at Shepard HS, Leah has amassed over 1000 digs and is fully committed to this talented SPRI team. Quick on her feet, Leah moves laterally well, getting to bells that most others can’t touch.
Sam Rueda, 2021, 5’9, RS, Metea Valley Sports Performance 17 C-Fed, Uncommitted
Good court sense and the ability to make the kill are two traits Sam brings to her Metea Valley high school team. Those same attributes translate into club season.
Lauren Passaglia, 2021, 5’11, S/RS, Cary-Grove, Balance 18-White, Uncommitted
An all-around strong player, Lauren has a great swing and a soft touch on the ball, which allows her to contribute both as a setter and as a hitter. Playing up with the older kids gives her nothing but solid experience and playing time with a high caliber of player. Lauren is another surprise waiting, college coaches to scout her.
Julia Rice, 2021, 6’1, OH, Cary-Grove, Balance 18-White, Uncommitted
A talented junior outside hitter, Julia adds more power to the Balance 18-White team. She hits hard and has a great cross-shot. Look for her and high school teammate Passiglia to just get better throughout club season and watch them rule during the 2020 high school tenure.
