The 2020 Volleyball Draft begins in just two days, with eight teams drafting 10 players from Michigan Class of 2021-23.

There’s a lot of great players in the state in those three classes, including a very deep pool of hitters. Here’s my big board for 30 of the top prospects based on talent, position need and potential.

**On a side note, the draft order has been decided through a randomizer. In the odd rounds, the order will be Warriors-Falcons-Tigers-Eagles-Bulldogs-Wildcats-Cougars-Lions. The even rounds will have that flipped.

[player_tooltip player_id="66319" first="Harper" last="Murray"], OH Skyline/Legacy (2023): Murray earns the top spot on my big board because her ceiling seems limitless right now. A 6-rotation player with her skills at such a young age, along with the potential she has, makes her a franchise piece.

[player_tooltip player_id="14163" first="Julia" last="Bishop"], S Mercy/Michigan Elite (2021): You need a good floor general in volleyball and Bishop is as good as it gets. Her confidence, combined with her skill and athleticism, makes for the perfect leader of a new team.

[player_tooltip player_id="14192" first="Jenna" last="Reitsma"], OH Lowell/FaR Out (2021): Reitsma took her game to another level over the last 12 months and now she will be the face of a new franchise. Her all-around skills make her a must-have.

[player_tooltip player_id="14203" first="Addie" last="VanderWeide"], OH Grand Rapids Christian/MVA (2021): The powerful and skilled 6-rotation outside knows how to finish and has a lot of championship experience with Grand Rapids Christian.

[player_tooltip player_id="24871" first="Maradith" last="O’Gorman"], RS/OH Lakewood/FaROut (2022): Maradith gets the slight nod over her sister for her ability to play the outside and be a cornerstone 6-rotation player for the team that drafts her. O’Gorman has the size and skill to be dominant.

[player_tooltip player_id="14185" first="Aubrey" last="O’Gorman"], MB Lakewood/FaR Out (2021): Aubrey is the most dominant middle in the state right now and is going to be the first middle off the board. The key will be which team wants to address that position first.

[player_tooltip player_id="50288" first="Mikayla" last="Haut"], OH SMCC/Michigan Elite (2021): Another talented 6-rotation player that has excelled throughout her prep career and has improved every step along the way.

[player_tooltip player_id="24846" first="Ava" last="Brizard"], OH Marian/Michigan Elite (2022): Brizard has the fire you look for in an outside hitter and her skillset is one that is going to only get better.

[player_tooltip player_id="50290" first="Rachel" last="Jennings"], L/DS Novi/Michigan Elite (2021): The top-ranked libero on the board, Jennings displays the vision, reaction time and footwork to be the best in her position.

[player_tooltip player_id="50289" first="Lydia" last="Harper"], S Caledonia/FaR Out (2021): A consistent leader that has great athleticism at the setter position. Harper will get the most out of the hitters in this draft.
