<p>If it were not for the coronavirus, a couple of weeks ago the CEVA region would have put on their biggest tournament of the season: Regionals. This is the final opportunity for teams to shift in their rankings, and the Portland Expo Center comes alive with hundreds of teams vying for a higher spot than they came in at. The top teams in the region are electrifying to watch and it would have been a great weekend to see the best Oregon volleyball has to offer. </p>
<p>CEVA froze the rankings based on the last Power League finishes and the top eight teams in the 18s division are outlined below, with a few impact players from each team highlighted. </p>
<p><strong>#1 North Pacific Juniors 18-1 Forefront </strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/13625723/Izzi-Szulczewski"><em>Izzi Szulczewski</em></a>, 5’7", S, Mountainside High School, Oregon State University </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Szulczewski (2020), 2019-2020 Oregon Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year and Oregon State University commit, is an athletic and versatile setter who uses her insane vertical and keen court awareness to be a 6-rotation standout, with the ability to do it all. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jordan (2020), a California State University East Bay commit, is a quick middle with the ability to put the ball away at any angle using her fast arm swing. </span></p>

<p>Kayser (2020), a Colorado State University commit, is an athletic and dynamic libero who reads the ball incredibly well on defense, is consistent on serve receive, and is a leader on and off the court.</p>

<p>McClellan (2021), the #1 2021 recruit and a University of Oregon commit, is a steady and consistent player on the court, who has impeccable back row play and takes the big swings in the front row, making her an indispensable six-rotation outside hitter.</p>

<p><em>Jasmine Martin</em>, 6’2”, MB, Mountain View High School, Washington State University</p>
<p>Martin (2020), a Washington State University commit, is an athletic middle with an incredibly high vertical which combined with her 6’2” stature makes her lethal in the middle.</p>

<p><em>Rylee Troutman</em>, 6’1”, OH, Ridgeview High School, Corban University</p>
<p>Troutman (2020), a Corban University commit, is the go-to attacker on her team, never afraid to take the big swings which coupled with her positive attitude and leadership abilities make her an invaluable asset.</p>
