Top Outsides: 2022

<p>These six sophomores made a huge impact on their high school and club teams this season. </p> <p><a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/13951837/Emily-Warmenhoven"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91205" first="Emily" last="Warmenhoven"]</strong></a>, 5’10", OH, West Linn High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy</p> <p>Warmenhoven came back her sophomore season with a vengeance, being the only sophomore returner, helping the Lions finish fifth in 6A State tournament this past season. She was awarded Three Rivers Second Team All-League for her play. With an insanely quick arm swing, she utilizes this power as a dominant hitter in both the front and back row, and is a steady defender making her a standout six rotation player. Currently, she is playing for Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy on their 16-1 National team.</p> <p><a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/12329357/Ashli-Edmiston"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91206" first="Ashli" last="Edmiston"]</strong></a>, 5’8", OH, Wilsonville High School, Athena Volleyball Academy</p> <p>Edmiston had a strong sophomore season, helping the Wilsonville Wildcats finish second in the 5A State tournament. She is a dynamic all-around outside hitter with a great swing she uses in both the front and back row. She was awarded Northwest Oregon Second Team All-League for her play. She is currently playing for Athena Volleyball Academy 16-1 Gold.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91210" first="Kaitlynn" last="Peterson"]</strong>, 5’11", OH, Tigard High School, Athena Volleyball Academy</p> <p>Peterson had a breakout season for the Tigard High School Tigers, as their dominant, six rotation, outside hitter. With her long and athletic stature, she many angles, and shots in her toolbox. She can play both outside and right side with ease. She was awarded Three Rivers Second Team All-League for her play. She is also a competitive softball player, competing with Tigard Crush. She is currently playing for Athena Volleyball Academy 16-1 Gold.</p> <p><a href="https://www.ncsasports.org/womens-volleyball-recruiting/oregon/albany/west-albany-high-school/hailey-heider"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91217" first="Hailey" last="Heider"]</strong></a>, 5’9", OH, West Albany High School, North Pacific Juniors</p> <p>Heider had a solid season for West Albany High School, seeing court time in both the front and back row. Heider can play any position on the court with ease, using her athleticism, high vertical and fast arm swing to put the ball away. She is currently playing for North Pacific Juniors 16-1 National.</p> <p><a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/11879722/Greta-Davis"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91218" first="Greta" last="Davis"]</strong></a>, 5’11", OH, Sisters High School, North Pacific Juniors</p> <p>Davis had a stellar season for the Sisters High School Outlaws, helping them secure a fourth-place finish in the 4A State tournament. Davis is a dynamic hitter with the ability to hit anywhere along the front row, using her quick arm swing to put the ball away. She was awarded Oregon West First Team All-League for her play. She is currently playing for North Pacific Juniors 16-A National Bend.</p> <p><strong><a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/12337140/Elliott-Bush">[player_tooltip player_id="91219" first="Elliott" last="Bush"]</a></strong>, 5’8", OH, Central Catholic High School, Athena Volleyball Academy</p> <p>Bush had a breakout season for the Central Catholic Rams, helping them finish second in the 6A State tournament. A springy outside hitter with a high volleyball IQ and a knack for defense and serve receive, this makes her a great six rotation player. She is currently playing for Athena Volleyball Academy 16-1 Gold.</p>
