We bring our attention back to the 2021 class as we have a few players that we have not written about yet. We are going to profile three new players you may not have heard of yet. We had some serious movement with some players sliding up the charts from our initial publication of the State Rankings in April. Here are just a few of the Stock Risers in the 2021 class that stood out and moved up for their senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id="87399" first="Faye" last="Wilbricht"] [2021] 5-10 Outside (HS: Holy Cross/Club: Magic/Verbal: Baylor)

Faye has earned the honor of being ranked as the 11th best volleyball player in the state of Texas according to our Prep Dig rankings. Miss Wilbricht is part of the famed ten foot club, meaning she can approach touch ten feet in the air. She possesses a great ability to get off of the ground so effortlessly and it is with this hang time and vertical ability that she scores against her opponents so easily. She is committed to one of the best programs in the country in Baylor. She will have an immediate impact on their program to keep them at the top of their game. She has the ability to pass out of the back row well as she has been a six rotation player for a while now. Her SA Magic program uses her offensively in the front and back row to score. We are excited to watch her during her senior year as she gets ready to take that next step at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="87405" first="Keagan" last="Polk"] [2021] 5-7 Libero (HS: Southlake Carroll/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Baylor)

[player_tooltip player_id="87405" first="Keagan" last="Polk"] has been ranked as the 17th ranked prospect in the State of Texas according to our State Rankings. She is one of the most gifted serve receive passers in the state. She is ranked as the fifth best libero in her class. What makes her serve receive so great is her footwork and her body posture. One of the hardest things to do in sports is move backwards while trying to play a ball correctly. Being a libero is all about form and technique. Miss Polk is able to shuffle her feet in many directions all while staying extremely balanced prior to and during contact. Keagan keeps her posture throughout her entire movement to the ball. It is a great site to see as a coach at heart. I love the fact that she keeps her arms well away from her body during contact which allows her to create angles and soften the touch on the ball. She is also committed to Baylor and will transition to the collegiate game so easily. Baylor is getting a good one in Miss Polk. We are excited to continue coverage for one more year.

[player_tooltip player_id="87430" first="Eliana" last="Posada"] [2021] 6-2 Right Side (HS: Thompkins/Club: Houston Juniors/ Verbal: Pittsburgh)

[player_tooltip player_id="87430" first="Eliana" last="Posada"] is ranked as the 41st best player in the 2021 class according to our State Rankings. This lefty was built for the game of volleyball. She is so silky smooth with her approach footwork. It seems as if she glides on the court like she is dancing. Some people just have that natural ability and this is how I would describe Miss Posada. Her footwork is so effortless and it is such a delight to witness. She is a dominant force on the right side of the court offensively. She possesses an absolute cannon for a left arm. She has such a beautiful picturesque approach to the ball as she flies through the air to attack. I will be showing many lefty young volleyball players her videos to make sure they try to pick up as much as possible. There is no doubt about her ability to score on the right side of the court. This lefty can BANG! If you haven’t watched her swing, you should definitely look her up. She will have a great senior season at Thompkins high and we can’t wait to cover her.

Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes. If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info at nov8vb@yahoo.com. Also don’t forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends. Help us help them by simply retweeting on Twitter or sharing on Facebook. Thanks for following Texas Family!
