Defense

A lot of defense in this portion of the rankings with five players who can play libero or defensive specialist at the next level. Two are committed in [player_tooltip player_id="101683" first="Chloe" last="Kaimann"] (Winfield/Rockwood) who will be attending Quincy. The other is another member of Rockwood and Oakville High's [player_tooltip player_id="101685" first="Regina" last="Elguezabal"], who will attend nearby Maryville University.

[player_tooltip player_id="101690" first="Arley" last="Anderson"] of Park Hill South makes the ranking as a defensive specialist, though she plays setter in high school. She should earn her 2000 assists this season but plays libero/ds on the club scene and will be an added asset to a team.

Rightside Hitters

All three rightsides bring good skills and height to the position. Each stands at 5'10", which add values both offensively and defensively at the next level. [player_tooltip player_id="101682" first="Isabelle" last="Monaco"] (Living Word/Rockwood) has committed to McKendree (NCAA Division II). [player_tooltip player_id="101684" first="Alyssa" last="Jones"] (Northwest/Rockwood) and [player_tooltip player_id="101689" first="Maddy" last="Peoples"] (Webb City/417 Net Results) are both still on the market and swing a good ball from the right side.

Setter

The only setter in this bunch is a good one. [player_tooltip player_id="41769" first="Sam" last="Thompson"] (Logan-Rogersville/THR33) is a gamer. She has big-game experience and has the statistics to back it up. Thompson has great court awareness and ball placement.

Middle

[player_tooltip player_id="101686" first="Kelly" last="Ann Greene"] (St. Teresa's/PVA) emerged on the scene and started to draw more interest during the high school season. Unfortunately, she missed the shortened club season and wasn't able to showcase her improved skill level for the coaches. She is thought to be able to play small D1 or D2 and contribute immediately. She runs a tremendous slide and hits a strong 2 ball.
