There are three weeks of regular season play remaining in Indiana, and we have a ton of kid still available for any school needing any of the positions listed. A three-rotation option on her high school team and the libero on her club team, Taylor is fully capable of playing all three positions in the back row, and has played high level high school and club ball for years. [player_tooltip player_id="102468" first="Lourdes" last="Torres"], 5-9, OH, Munster Currently on Prep Dig’s 4A #5 team in Indiana, Lourdes is a six-rotation outside that can be just as effective from the front row as in the back row. Her fast-twitch and natural volleyball instincts make her a no-brainer option for those that need a six-rotation outside. [player_tooltip player_id="85689" first="Lexi" last="Brehl"], 5-8, DS, Carmel The libero for a perennial top 20 program in Indiana, she’s both a vocal and physical leader for the Greyhounds. On a young Carmel team, Lexi is the reason for their initial success and is akin to a second coach on the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="85684" first="Sarah" last="Casper"], 5-11, OH, Cathedral Speaking of storied programs, Sarah is a six-rotation outside for Cathedral, but could be an O1 considering her shot selection and ability to terminate. Unlike Lexi listed above, this is a quiet leader for one of the historically most successful programs in the state. [player_tooltip player_id="85691" first="Caitlin" last="Murphy"], 5-7, S, Brownsburg The setter of a 5-1 program with an outside already committed to Colorado, Caitlin is the anchor for a team that doesn’t exactly receive serve all that well. You wouldn’t know that, however, as Miss Murphy is a no-nonsense, get-the-job-done setter who leads by example and locates the ball well. [player_tooltip player_id="85694" first="Mikayla" last="Christiansen"], 6-0, RS, Fishers On the radar for a few mid-level Division I programs, Mikayla is yet another player for a team lost in the shuffle because of others that have already committed. Her experience playing multiple positions (O1 and MB) on past high school and club teams makes Miss Christiansen very marketable and versatile no matter when you put her. [player_tooltip player_id="85695" first="Kayden" last="Holcomb"], 5-10, MB, Floyd Central The disadvantage here is that Floyd is stuck in Providence’s sectional, so we don’t get to see Kayden advance in the post season much. However, Miss Holcomb is a well-trained and fast middle that could play right side in the right circumstances. [player_tooltip player_id="85692" first="Ashleigh" last="White"], 5-11, OH, Lawrence North A converted middle, Ashleigh can attack touch at ten feet and is learning the nuances of being an O1. I’d like to see a bit more of her on defense and serve receive, but her transition from the middle leads me to believe that she could play any of the three positions in the front row with ease. [player_tooltip player_id="85696" first="Paige" last="Conklin"], 5-8, S, La Porte The lone Dunes representative on this list is another no-nonsense, lead-by-example setter for one of the best high school programs in Indiana. Her length and athleticism allows her to get to balls some other setters can’t get to, and she plays better defense than most setters. [player_tooltip player_id="85698" first="Bella" last="Dearinger"], 5-10, S, Delta Delaware County in Indiana is the example of volleyball mastery. Delta, among others, is one of many high schools that have hyper successful programs that produce kids just like Bella. Bella’s separation from the others, however, comes from her ability to set and attack. Her fiery personality oozes vocal leadership, and can carry a team on her back if you let her.
