<p>Several talented players from each team delivered as Cooper defeated visiting Campbell County 3-0 in a late-season high school volleyball match on Saturday, Oct. 10.</p>
<p>Cooper won 25-8, 25-10, 25-19.</p>
<p>With the win, Cooper (9th Region) improved to 10-3.</p>
<p>Campbell County dropped to 7-10 with the loss. </p>
<p>Productive Cooper claimed its third straight victory. </p>
<p>Campbell County suffered a setback after registering three consecutive wins. </p>
<p>Rivals from bordering regions, Cooper and Campbell County met for the first time in the 2020 high school volleyball season. </p>
<p>The top performers for Cooper were Kaitlyn Luebbers (9 kills, 2 blocks, 4 digs, 5 service aces), [player_tooltip player_id="68101" first="Savannah" last="Snebold"] (9 kills, 2 blocks), Buchi Ajaezu (9 kills, 2 blocks), Shelby Smith (2 kills, 13 assists, 5 digs) and [player_tooltip player_id="107421" first="Sadie" last="Smith"] (2 kills, 12 assists, 4 digs, 7 service aces).</p>
<p>The top performers for Campbell County were Arkansas Tech commit [player_tooltip player_id="68088" first="Olivia" last="Crowl"] (4 kills, 6 blocks, 3 digs), Ella Thorwarth (5 kills), Madison Pond (20 digs, 1 service ace), Ella Schloemer (1 kill, 4 blocks, 15 assists, 6 digs) and Bailey Beiting (2 kills, 2 blocks, 1 dig). </p>
<p>Cooper is the defending 33rd District champion. The Jaguars reached the 9th Region Volleyball Tournament Semifinals in 2019. </p>
<p>A longtime standout for Campbell County, Crowl is the reigning Region 10 Player of the Year. </p>
<p>Campbell County is the reigning champion in both the 37th District and 10th Region. The Camels made an appearance in the 2019 KHSAA Volleyball State Tournament. </p>
<p>Both Cooper and Campbell County will enter the 2020 high school volleyball postseason in one week. </p>
