<p>As we tour the state of Oregon, we will be making many stops throughout this great State. We will be stopping by cities big and small, highlighting the best athletes in those places. First stop: Portland Metro! Here are the top five outside hitters from the class of 2022: </p>

<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91205" first="Emily" last="Warmenhoven"]</strong></em>, 5'10”, OH, West Linn High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy</p>
<p>Warmenhoven came back her sophomore season with a vengeance, being the only sophomore returner, helping the Lions finish fifth in 6A State tournament this past season. She was awarded Three Rivers Second Team All-League for her play. With an insanely quick arm swing, she utilizes this power as a dominant hitter in both the front and back row, never afraid to take the big swings. She is also is a steady defender making her a standout six rotation player. Last club season she played for Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy on their 16-1 National team.</p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91206" first="Ashli" last="Edmiston"]</strong></em>, 5'8", OH, Wilsonville High School, Athena Volleyball Academy </p>
<p>Edmiston had a strong sophomore season, helping the Wilsonville Wildcats finish second in the 5A State tournament. <span style="font-size: 1rem;">She was awarded Northwest Oregon Second Team All-League for her play. </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">She is a dynamic all-around outside hitter with a great arm swing and high vertical that she makes use of in both the front and back row. Her teammates look to her to put the ball away and she is typically a go-to attacker for her teams. Last club season she played for Athena Volleyball Academy on their 16-1 Gold team.</span></p>

<p>Bush had a breakout season for the Central Catholic Rams as one of two 2022 returners to the team. Her steady play helped the Rams finish second in the 6A State tournament. A springy outside hitter with a high volleyball IQ and a knack for defense and serve receive, this makes her a great six rotation player. When she connects with the ball on the outside, it is deadly. Last club season she played for Athena Volleyball Academy on their 16-1 Gold team.</p>

<p>Dahl had another standout season for the Grant High School Generals, helping them finish second in league. She has been awarded Portland Interscholastic First Team All-League for her play both her freshman and sophomore seasons for the Generals. Though on the smaller side for an attacker, she has an insanely high vertical that allows her to play in the front row. Although she has started to transition to more of a defensive specialist role, she is often seen playing all six rotations for her teams. Last club season she played for MAC Jrs. on their 16-1 team.</p>
