Analysis: All-10th Region Team

<p>The 10th Region Coaches Association has released its annual honors following the conclusion of the 2020 high school volleyball season.</p> <p>A breakdown of the All-10th Region First Team along with a list of the additional honorees for the 2020 high school volleyball season follows. </p> <p><strong>Coach of the Year: Andrea Sullivan (Scott)</strong></p> <p><strong>Player of the Year: [player_tooltip player_id="68093" first="Gabby" last="Kallmeyer"] (Scott)</strong></p> <p><strong>First Team</strong></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68093" first="Gabby" last="Kallmeyer"] (Scott):</strong> A senior outside hitter, Kallmeyer is the 10th Region Player of the Year. Kallmeyer led Scott to the 2020 10th Region title. During her senior season, Kallmeyer recorded 233 kills, 21 blocks, 15 assists, 300 digs and 46 service aces in 28 matches. One of the state’s top high school volleyball players, Kallmeyer produces at a high level from both the front row and back row. </p> <p><strong>Marie Kiefer (Bishop Brossart):</strong> A senior middle blocker, Kiefer is an accomplished player. Kiefer led Bishop Brossart as a senior, registering 372 kills, 69 blocks, 13 assists, 179 digs and 23 service aces. Strong at the net, Kiefer reads opposing hitters to set up blocks consistently.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68088" first="Olivia" last="Crowl"] (Campbell County):</strong> A senior middle blocker who is headed to Arkansas Tech, Crowl has excelled throughout her prep career. A longtime leader for Campbell Count, Crowl compiled 258 kills, 76 blocks and 42 digs during her senior season. Crowl excels along the middle of the net and is a stellar blocker.</p> <p><strong>Portia Kohls (Calvary Christian):</strong> A junior middle hitter/outside hitter, Kohls was instrumental for her team throughout the 2020 high school volleyball season. Kohls posted 182 kills, 16 blocks, 85 digs and 31 service aces in 17 matches during her senior campaign. Agile, Kohls will carry momentum into the 2021 high school volleyball season.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="104551" first="Rylee" last="McKinney"] (Campbell County):</strong> A junior outside hitter/right side hitter, McKinney is another talented player for Campbell County. As a junior, McKinney posted 117 kills, 13 blocks, 141 digs and 23 service aces. Versatile, McKinney is a productive hitter from either side. </p> <p><strong>Raele Ruschman (Bishop Brossart):</strong> A senior setter, Ruschman distributed 449 assists for Bishop Brossart during the 2020 high school volleyball season. An experienced prep volleyball player, Ruschman is a vocal leader who runs the offense well. </p> <p><strong>Sarah Dunaway (Harrison County):</strong> A senior outside hitter, Dunaway thrived during her final prep season. As a senior, Dunaway delivered 168 kills, 171 digs and 51 service aces for the Fillies.
