Nerinx Hall is on an eight-game winning streak while Willard has won 19 of the last 21. Willard is big and strong, with two of the best hitters in Class 4 and the best blocker. Nerinx Hall will need to come out fast and need to play the best defense to knock Willard off.

Willard potential lineup:

Taylor Crighton 5’2 senior 327 digs

Grace Hancock 5’8 junior 111 kills

Paige Gayer 5’6 junior 48 kills and 205 digs

[player_tooltip player_id="41750" first="Payton" last="Van Veen"] 6’2 senior 408 kills and 58 blocks

[player_tooltip player_id="102455" first="Kindall" last="Smithson"] 5’5 junior 332 digs

[player_tooltip player_id="41751" first="Maddy" last="Bushnell"] 6’2 senior 402 kills and 75 blocks

Paige Durham 5’9 junior 67 kills and 169 digs

Kelsey Kirkland 5’5 senior 156 digs

Nerinx Hall potential lineup:

Katie Boston 6’0 junior 85 kills, 33 blocks

Addison Brazile, 5’8 senior 164 digs

Ella Gaona, 5’5 sophomore 87 digs

Addy Girsch, 5’8 sophomore 51 kills, 112 digs

Frannie LaVigne 5’7 junior 129 kills, 84 digs

Jo JO Delsing 5’7 junior 13 kills, 100 assists

Anna Taylor 6’0 senior 123 kills

Fona Eppert 5’5 senior 278 assists

Semifinal 2

Parkway West High School 11-4

Vs

Platte County High School 27-6-2

Parkway West returned to the final four by beating Hannibal 18-25, 25-15, 25-21, 25-8, and then nipping Camdenton 25-15, 17-25, 25-18, 18-25, 17-15. Platte County reached the final four by beating Pembroke Hill 25-21, 25-18, 21-25, 25-19, and then sweeping Grain Valley 25-20, 25-15, 25-20. Platte County is 24-1-2 since September 12th, and that includes a win over Park Hill. Platte County started the year 3-5. Not a hotter team in the state than the Pirates. Parkway West, on the other hand only been playing a little over a month. Those four losses have been to Lafayette, Eureka, Marquette, and Oakville, and if you know Saint Louis volleyball, you know those names. Parkway West has the height, but Platte County might be more of a complete team.

Parkway West potential lineup:

Claire Folkins 5’5 sophomore 113 assists

Elise Frost 6’0 sophomore 47 kills and 45 blocks

Carly Kuehl 5’11 senior 169 kills and 230 digs

Anna Pavlisin 6’0 senior 234 kills and 248 digs

Maddy Truka 5’11 junior 70 kills and 50 blocks

Annie Bunton 5’6 senior 229 digs

Irene Yannakakis 6’3 senior 72 kills

Ellie Moriarity 5’10 junior 21 blocks

Bella Allgeyer 5’5 senior 190 assists

Platte County potential lineup

Aly Anderson 5’9 senior 311 kills, 342 digs

Emerson Walter 5’5 junior 590 assists

Haley Luna 5’8 senior 152 kills and 53 blocks

Karsyn Stehlik 5’10 sophomore 87 kills

Mary Grace Hunter 5’6 junior 175 kills

[player_tooltip player_id="41803" first="Kate" last="Brown"] junior 5’8 239 kills, 194 digs

[player_tooltip player_id="101678" first="Bryn" last="McGehe"] senior 5’6 255 kills, 222 digs, and 412 assists

Preslie Firkins senior 5’3 323 digs

State Championship: Please go 5!
