<p>Super Saturday was on a full moon and Halloween this year, and you may have had the feeling some crazy things were maybe going to pan out throughout the day on the road to Lincoln! Class B pretty much followed the script, as all top seeds won. Here is a look at those that punched their tickets to Lincoln in Class B. </p>
<p>There were not any upsets as four of the eight matches went to four sets and the rest were sweeps.</p>

<p>Top seeded Skutt cruised to their B-1 District Championship over Blair. Norris defeated 2019 State Runner Up Duchesne behind outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id="37542" first="Ella" last="Waters"] 27 kills and Husker Commit [player_tooltip player_id="37546" first="Maisie" last="Boesiger"]’s four ace serves and 41 set assists to capture the B-2 District Championship. A much improved Elkhorn North gave Waverly everything they had to try to upset the Lady Vikings, but the Vikings still prevailed in the four set win to punch their ticket to State. Husker Commit [player_tooltip player_id="58186" first="Whitney" last="Lauenstein"] had 23 kills for the Lady Vikings. The Timberwolves were led by sophomore hitter [player_tooltip player_id="59201" first="Grace" last="Heaney"] with 18 kills and freshman [player_tooltip player_id="109593" first="Reese" last="Booth"] had 38 assists in the loss. </p>
<p>In B-4 District action Elkhorn handily won over Lexington with a three set sweep. [player_tooltip player_id="82596" first="Abby" last="Wolfe"] led all hitters with 13 kills and .550 hitting percentage. In B-5 action Ashland-Greenwood one of the smallest Class B schools defeated Beatrice in four sets behind Carly VonRentzell’s 14 kills and Saige Craven’s 12 kills. York was triumphant in the B-6 final over Hastings behind 6’0" Junior [player_tooltip player_id="58791" first="Masa" last="Scheierman"]’s 25 kills, [player_tooltip player_id="58275" first="Erin" last="Case"] chipped in with 10 kills and and [player_tooltip player_id="82640" first="Addison" last="Legg"] with 9. 5’5" Junior Brynn Hirshfield dished out 27 set assists on the day. </p>
<p>The Aurora Lady Huskies beat the Gering Bulldogs in four sets for the B-7 Title. was impressive early starting with a 10-0 lead. In B-8 Grand Island Northwest defeated fellow Central Conference foe Seward in three sets. 6'0" MH Senior Claire Caspersen had 12 kills and 2 blocks in the victory and Sophie Mckinney had 17 digs. Junior Kinzi Havranek dished out 37 set assists to average 12.3 assists per set. </p>
<p>The tournament field for Class B is loaded with lots of talent this year! It should be a fun ride! See you at Pinnacle Bank on Wednesday! </p>
