Four 11th Region Junior Defensive Specialists to Watch

<p>Juniors were among the top defensive players in the 11th Region during the 2020 high school volleyball season. </p> <p>Here are four 11th Region junior defensive specialists to watch. </p> <p><strong>Emily Adkins:</strong> A Henry Clay junior defensive specialist, Adkins is an experienced player. As a junior, Adkins recorded 160 digs, 19 assists and 17 service aces. Adkins was instrumental as Henry Clay captured the 2020 11th Region volleyball title. Poised to finish her prep career strong, Adkins is athletic and covers the floor extensively.</p> <p><strong>Kennedy Beatty:</strong> A Sayre junior defensive specialist, Beatty is a key player for her prep team. Beatty compiled 226 digs, 56 service aces and 47 assists as a junior during the 2020 high school volleyball season. A defensive standout, Beatty boasts a solid all-around skill set and is highly productive. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="104536" first="Morgan" last="Caba"]:</strong> A Great Crossing junior defensive specialist, Caba was a leader for her team throughout the 2020 high school volleyball season. As a junior, Caba registered 216 digs, 44 assists and 31 service aces. Emerging as one of the state’s top defensive players, Caba is a strong back row hitter.  </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="104529" first="Riley" last="McChord"]:</strong> A Lafayette junior defensive specialist/libero, McChord was among the leaders for her team during the 2020 high school volleyball season.
