She is a great hitter in every position in the front row. Her sense of court knowledge is amazing and she led our team in ace serves this year. She plays middle back defense and was second high in digs. She is truly a GREAT kid and I don’t say that if I don’t mean it! She is somewhat shy but really opens up as you get to know her. Any coach at the next level would love to have her. She is committed to working hard and doing what is best for our team. Coach K.C. Beltiz: Reese is a four-year letter-winner who completely re-wrote the record books at Lakeview. Brings effort and toughness, every day, all the time. That earns her the respect of teammates which allows her to lead by example. She demands excellence of herself and her team and her team followed her to achieve our full potential in every match, because she won’t accept anything less. Her decision-making and skills often got her hitters a 1-on-1 match-up, which made her team a balanced and record-setting offense. She also led the team in serving pts. scored and aces. She was 3rd on the team in both digs and blocks, clearly a unique combination for a setter. She has the "It factor" that makes teammates want to follow her lead, and that’s a great quality for a setter! Lilly Rowe | 2022 | OH/RS | 5’9 | Columbus Lakeview | Club Legacy Coach K.C. Beltiz: Lilly is a player who never stops working to get better, while at the same time doing the HARD WORK of bringing energy and emotion to her teammates in every match. She is a key 6-rotation player and the emotional engine for our team. Looking at the numbers from her junior season, you can see the improvement! She led us in kills with 348, 100 more than last year and led us in attack efficiency at .290, 2nd in digs with 394 – 150 more than last year, 2nd in aces and serve pts serving 93%, 3rd in assists. Beyond her own talents, she’s among the best teammates I’ve had the chance to coach - others will love the chance to play next to Lilly!   <hr /> GRAND ISLAND CENTRAL CATHOLIC [player_tooltip player_id="59200" first="Evan" last="Glade"] | 2023 | OH/RS | 5’11 | GICC | Nebraska Juniors Coach Sharon Zavala: [player_tooltip player_id="59200" first="Evan" last="Glade"] is a sophomore and a dynamic outside hitter. She has a beautiful swing and jumps extremely well. We switched her from a middle hitter to an outside this last season and she ended up with 249 kills in 28 games with a .264 efficiency. 21 blocks and was our leading ace server at over 15% ace percentage. At 6’0 and extremely intelligent this girl has a high ceiling for running an offense.
