<p>Some of the best high school teams in the state of Missouri have juniors running their offense. With many of these talented teams graduated very involved seniors, we can expect these setters to take over more of a leadership role in the 2021 high school season. A lot of the state finalists having a junior setter, let’s take a look at the top five junior setters from this past 2020 high school season:</p>

<li>Lost to Liberty North in State Championship match 24-26, 20-25, 16-25</li>
<li>Had 6 digs and 33 assists in the title match</li>
<li>Finished the season at 10.7 assists/set, had 319 digs, and 1,163 assists</li>
</ol>
</li>

<li>Willard High School (31-3-1)</li>
<li>Beat Parkway West 25-8, 20-25, 25-9, 25-18 in State Championship match</li>
<li>Had 9 digs and 33 assists in the title match</li>
<li>Finished the season at 10.4 assists/set, had 223 digs, 35 aces, and 1,038 assists</li>
</ol>
</li>

<li>Valle Catholic High School (30-7-2)</li>
<li>Lost to Living Word Christian in State Championship match</li>
<li>Had 18 digs and 67 assists in the title match</li>
<li>Finished the season at 8.8 assists/set, had 266 digs, 39 aces, and 981 assists</li>
</ol>
</li>

<li>St. Francis Borgia High School (30-5-2)</li>
<li>Beat St. Dominic 3-1 to take third place at the state tournament</li>
<li>Finished the season at 10.5 assists/set, had 260 digs, 32 aces, and 934 assists</li>
</ol>
</li>

<li>Lee’s Summit West (19-7)</li>
<li>Ended the season with a loss to Nixa 18-25, 19-25, 25-22, 18-25</li>
<li>Had 9 digs and 40 assists in loss to Nixa</li>
<li>Finished the season at 10.2 assists/set, had 241 digs, 38 aces, and 916 assists</li>
</ol>
