Here are three 16th Region freshman outside hitters to watch.
Jenna Jordan: A West Carter freshman outside hitter, Jordan made an impact for her team throughout the 2020 high school volleyball season. As a freshman, Jordan recorded 186 kills, 46 digs and 21 service aces. A hard hitter from the left side, Jordan boasts a solid all-around skill set and elevates well at the net.
Reagan Mackie: A Raceland freshman outside hitter/right side hitter, Mackie chipped in for her team during the 2020 high school volleyball season. Mackie compiled 28 kills, 68 digs and 8 service aces as a freshman. Versatile, Mackie has shown the ability to hit consistently from either side and make digs regularly.
Alexis Thompson: An East Carter freshman outside hitter, Thompson was among the leaders for her team during the 2020 high school volleyball season. Thompson posted 64 kills, 21 digs and 60 service aces as a freshman. A talented young volleyball player with solid jumping abilities, Thompson possesses quality back row skills and reads opposing defenses well.
