Premier’s 17’s are filled with talented athletes! Today we will highlight the 17 Black team.

I am pumped and honored to coach 17 Black for the 2021 club season! They are a lively and goofy but very hardworking group of girls. We have depth in every position, so our practices are very competitive where the players are constantly pushing each other to step up their level of play. I am looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish throughout the spring season. Our schedule is jam-packed with local tournaments and qualifiers that will challenge us. I’m hopeful these experiences and opportunities will best prepare us for our ultimate goal: a trip to Las Vegas for the USAV national tournament in July..... Coach Micah Rhodes

Abendroth really came into her own this high school season, also playing right side along with middle. After contributing 125 kills her sophomore year, she about doubled her kills with 246 her junior season (.277) and 45 blocks. You can watch her here:
Mikayla is capable of setting a quick tempo offense. At 5'8" she's got some length and does a good job on the right side also. She's athletic and holds her own on defense. She runs a 5-1 for Millard South since filling in for an injury her freshman year. She'll be a great addition to a college in 2022 as a solid next-level athlete.
[player_tooltip player_id="58807" first="Kobie" last="Patten"] | OH | Duchesne | Uncommitted
Kobie is a solid 6-rotation outside. She's won First Team All River Cities Conference, OWH and LJS Honorable Mention All-State for Class B, Academic All-State Award, and Academic All-Conference Award. She's a great leader on the court, can stay positive and help others stay positive, has very consistent defense and a wide variety of shots in her arsenal. Kobie tells me they are focusing on working together as a team.
[player_tooltip player_id="58800" first="Taylor" last="Bunjer"] | OH | Elkhorn | Uncommitted
Taylor is a mentally tough hitter who is versatile across the net, but is looking to play outside at the next level. She's talking to about 6 schools on a weekly basis and hoping to make a decision before too long. Her and her team are hoping to finish in the top 5 of the qualifiers this year! She hits a heavy ball and has a great swing. She's a fun, dynamic player to watch.
