Club Team Spotlight: NKYVC 18 Tsunami

<p>NKYVC 18 Tsunami features some of the state’s top senior volleyball players. </p> <p>A look at the NKYVC 18 Tsunami roster follows. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68088" first="Olivia" last="Crowl"]</strong> is a 6-2 senior middle hitter/outside hitter from Campbell County High School. Crowl is headed to Arkansas Tech University. One of the state’s top high school volleyball players, Crowl excels in the front row and is a longtime leader</p> <p><strong>Eleanor Middleton-Orchelle</strong> is a 5-8 senior outside hitter/libero from Saint Henry High School. Middleton-Orchelle is headed to Chowan University. She is a versatile player who can deliver as a hitter from the left side and contribute defensively while playing the libero position. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68103" first="Madison" last="McCloskey"]</strong> is a six-foot senior middle hitter/right side hitter from Newport Central Catholic High School. McCloskey is headed to Ashland University. A standout at middle hitter, McCloskey hits strong from the right side as well. </p> <p><strong>Hannah Lukey</strong> is a 5-7 senior setter/defensive specialist from Dixie Heights High School. Lukey is unsigned. Lukey digs and pursues consistently and can produce from the front row. </p> <p><strong>Lauren Welch</strong> is a 5-9 senior libero/defensive specialist from Ryle High School. Welch is headed to Ashland University. She has displayed the ability to set when needed and excels defensively. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68089" first="Abby" last="Powers"]</strong> is a 6-2 senior middle hitter/outside hitter from Notre Dame Academy. Powers is headed to Robert Morris University. She blocks well individually and with teammates and uses quick attacks on offense regularly. </p> <p><strong>Victoria Wurtz</strong> is a six-foot senior right side/middle hitter from Holy Cross High School (Covington). Wurtz is headed to Thomas More University. A solid all-around player, Wurtz can hit from the front row and the back row efficiently. </p> <p><strong>Cate Scheper</strong> is a 6-1 senior outside hitter/middle hitter from Notre Dame Academy. Scheper is unsigned. She has produced as a go-to hitter for multiple seasons and is a talented passer. </p> <p><strong>Lucy Claxton</strong> is a 5-9 senior outside hitter/defensive specialist from Seton High School. Claxton is headed to Northern Kentucky University. An accurate passer, Claxton elevates well at the net. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
