Club Team Spotlight: Union Under Armour 18-1

<p>Union Under Armour 18-1 features some of the top prep volleyball players from both Kentucky and Indiana. </p> <p>A look at the Union Under Armour 18-1 roster follows. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68066" first="Eleanor" last="Beavin"]</strong> is a 5-6 senior defensive specialist/libero from Mercy Academy. Headed to the University of Kentucky, Beavin is the top defensive high school/club volleyball player in the state. With an exceptional skillset, Beavin is one of the best defensive players in the nation. </p> <p><strong>Kayla Guthrie</strong> is a 5-10 senior outside hitter from Brownstown Central High School. She is headed to the University of Indianapolis. Guthrie elevates well at the net and blocks consistently. </p> <p><strong>Allison Holloway</strong> is a six-foot senior middle blocker from Mercy Academy. Holloway is headed to the University of Central Arkansas. She has shown the ability to block well individually and with teammates. </p> <p><strong>Alexandra Hornung</strong> is a 5-10 senior outside hitter from Providence High School. She is headed to Purdue University. An exceptional outside hitter who is explosive, Hornung thrives on the left side of the net. </p> <p><strong>Emma Kaelin</strong> is a 5-9 senior setter from Providence High School. Kaelin is headed to Indiana State University. She is an accurate passer and strong communicator. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="103839" first="Lucy" last="Malone"]</strong> is a 5-4 senior defensive specialist/libero from Sacred Heart Academy. Malone is headed to Coastal Carolina University. A highly skilled defensive player, Malone excels as a back row hitter. </p> <p><strong>Anna Purichia</strong> is a 5-10 senior outside hitter from Providence High School. Purichia is headed to Eastern Kentucky University. She has the ability to produce from both the front row and the back row. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68067" first="Elena" last="Scott"]</strong> is a 5-9 senior setter/defensive specialist from Mercy Academy. Scott is headed to the University of Louisville. She is a vocal leader who runs offenses efficiently and identifies blockers well. </p> <p><strong>Ligia Williams</strong> is a 6-1 senior middle blocker from Rock Creek High School. Williams is headed to the University of Cincinnati. She reads opposing hitters to set up blocks consistently and uses quick attacks on offense regularly. </p>
