Midwest Power League Week 2 did not disappoint. Power League seems to bring the best USAV teams and JVA teams together for some great competition.

[player_tooltip player_id="88293" first="Liv" last="Reitsma"] | Bellevue West | Premier 17 Black | Setter/OH | 2022
This girl is a baller. I’ve watched her set (she’s got great hands) and I saw her play 6-rotation outside during another tournament. In talking with her club coach, Micah Rhodes, he has this to say "Liv has been an excellent addition to this team. She can set, hit, pass, and play defense. She is a true athlete and competitor who plays with an “all-out” mentality every time she steps on the court." I totally agree, she is truly a "go-getter"! Her Premier 17 Black team has already won a USAV Bid for Nationals at the Northern Lights Qualifier!

[player_tooltip player_id="134934" first="Marisa" last="Lootens"] | Millard North | Premier 17 Black | RS/OH | 2022
I have watched Marissa get stronger and raise her volleyball IQ these last 2 years. Coach Rhodes has this to say "When Marisa is clicking on all cylinders, she’s hard to stop. She can use the block well, turn it hard down the line, and attack deep corners of the court. While she primarily only plays across the front row, she can hold her own defensively, in passing, and from behind the service line."

[player_tooltip player_id="82412" first="Harlei" last="Cole"] | Papio South | Nebraska Juniors 17 Black | L/DS/OH | 2022
Harlei is on the Juniors 17 Black team, but played up with the 18’s this tournament and did a great job. Cole is scrappy with a great read on the hitters. Her overall athletism is high and she can also play hitter when the team needs her to. She’s got a great platform and is key to keeping her side of the net in system.

[player_tooltip player_id="58821" first="Kiley" last="Elkins"] | Malcolm High School | VCN 17 Black | RS/OH/DS | 2022
Elkins has a quick arm and was able to terminate in a variety of ways. She was a go-to hitter for her high school team with close to 400 kills, 151 digs and 50 aces.
[player_tooltip player_id="103848" first="Savannah" last="Shelburne"] | Gretna | Nebraska ONE 17 Black | Setter
Savannah moved clubs this year and has been a boost to her Nebraska One team. She’s running a 5-1 and is instrumental in her team having success this season. She has a variety of hitters to mix up the offense.
