Natalie Glenn Natalie Glenn 5'10" | OH Southlake Carroll | 2021 State TX [2021] 5-10 Outside (HS: Southlake Carroll/Club: Texas Advantage /Verbal: Minnesota)
Please welcome Natalie to the 2021 Prep Dig State Rankings. We have her listed as the 39th best prospect in the state. Miss Glenn has been on our radar as a player to watch for a while and we needed a little more time to place her in the list. She is a stellar left-handed pin hitter who can soar and hit with amazing power. She plays for Southlake Carroll and also club for the famed Texas Advantage Volleyball club out of North Texas. She has been committed to Minnesota since her sophomore season and it is clear to see why when you watch her play. In four years at Southlake Carroll she has amassed 1719 kills on a career .255 hitting percentage, 175 blocks, 107 aces and an astounding 1606 digs. She has been a stud since she burst on the scene as a freshman on varsity. Miss Glenn has been nothing short of spectacular in these past four years and will star for Minnesota once she steps on campus. What makes her extremely special is not that she is left-handed, but rather that she plays primarily on the left pin. She is uber athletic and also shows off her abilities in the sand with some amazing dallas area teammates on the beach circuit. Her senior season was capped off with a unanimous district 4-6A MVP award and an Under Armor 2nd Team All American recognition. We are excited to welcome her to the Prep Dig Rankings and will watch her play at the next level at Minnesota next season. Please congratulate her on all of her achievements.
Kalani Whillock Kalani Whillock 5'9" | DS/L Keller | 2021 State TX [2021] 5-9 Libero (HS: Keller/Club: Texas Advantage /Verbal: Wake Forest)
Please welcome Kalani to the 2021 Prep Dig State Rankings. We have her listed as the 42nd best prospect in the state. Miss Whillock is a fantastic libero from the North Texas Area who plays at Keller High School and also for Texas Advantage Volleyball club. She is committed to playing at the next level with Wake Forest. In four years at Keller HS on varsity Kalani has been a stud tallying 417 kills, 98 aces, 1717 service receptions, and 1529 digs. The balance and footwork on this young lady is second to none. Watching her move on the court is something that all young players should watch. As a libero one of the most important parts of the position is reading/tracking the opposing offense. Kalani does this as good as anyone in the country. Her ability to be in a good position and then react to the ball is astounding. She will be college ready the moment she steps foot on the court for the Demon Deacons. Not only is her court vision and volleyball IQ enhanced, but her ball placement of out of system sets leaves a coach in awe. We are excited to welcome her to the Prep Dig Rankings and will watch her play at the next level at Wake Forest next season.
Trista Strasser Trista Strasser 6'4" | RS Hays | 2021 State TX [2021] 6-4 Middle (HS: Hays/Club: Austin Juniors/Verbal: Missouri)
Please welcome Trista to the 2021 Prep Dig State Rankings. We have her listed as the 52nd best prospect in the state. Miss Strasser is a great dual sport athlete in volleyball and basketball for Hays Hs and she also plays for the vaunted Austin Junior Volleyball club. In three years on varsity, she was able to accumulate 229 blocks, 423 kills on a career .266 hitting percentage. She was originally committed to playing at Texas State but then changed her commitment to play college volleyball at the University of Missouri. An All-District athlete in both basketball and volleyball, Trista has something that you cannot teach…height. But don’t just think she is just a tall volleyball player….this young lady can ball. She moves extremely well along the net to seal blocks on either pin and keeps her hands very high, which help her timing and spacing to shut down opposing hitters. We love her hard driving approach and how she is always ready for her setter on quick attacks. She will help her AJV 18s team as they play at USA Junior Nationals this weekend. We have no doubt that she will do well for Missouri next season and wish her well She showed us with her play that she deserved to be on our State Rankings. Please congratulate her on this great achievement.
