<p>Size alone doesn’t guarantee a spot among the top athletes in one’s class, but it does help. Here are newcomers to our updated class rankings who add talent and height to the list. While some have been previously noted here, they have moved up our list.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>class of 2023</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="135304" first="Madeline" last="Knutson"]</strong> - The 6’1’’ middle is a straight all-star in the making. She can really hammer it and is a huge wall on the right side. Every coach in the Northwest Suburban conference knows how difficult it is to hit against this elite blocker.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="135305" first="Kiylah" last="Franke"]</strong> - Kilyah is on trend as a tall setter. At 5’10’’ she can execute a 5-1 and likes to keep the defenders honest with offense. She has great range from across the court.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="135308" first="Naomi" last="Romso"]</strong> -Take note of Naomi; she is a player with endless potential. She is on a highly competitive Northern Lights 16-2’s this year and is one who could easily move up the rankings as she develops her variety of hits and strength.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Class of 2024</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="107898" first="Olivia" last="Swenson"] -</strong> Olivia has secured her position as the second recruit edging out teammates and others. Overall skill and power give her an edge; her consistency speaks to her experience and understanding of the game. Swenson has improved her arm-swing and can easily direct the ball around blockers.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="135311" first="Reis" last="Baune"]</strong> - The outside from Rosemount breaks onto our rankings in the top 25. At 5’11’’ she is able to contact high. Her long arms are like levers cranking on the ball from the pins. She is playing for Northern Lights and is becoming a key element for her high school team.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="86657" first="Emily" last="Lamb"]-</strong> Emily has moved up this round because of her work on defense. We have seen her get more time in the back court and love how effective she is digging out of middle back. In the front she continues to develop her repertoire of hits, with cross court as her go to.</p>
