Gophers get a double dose of Swensons this time around.  Olivia will be joining her twin sister, Stella, at Minnesota this spring.  Her prep accolades include the AVCA Phenom Watchlist, JVA Watchlist, Class AAAA All-State Team, Class AAAA State All-Tournament Team, and she was Ms. Baden Award Finalist.  Swenson has been playing up an age for Minnesota Select and even being injured during the 2021 HS Season she was a 4x Class AAAA State Champion.

Olivia Swenson Olivia Swenson Olivia Swenson 6'3" | OH Wayzata | 2024 State #98 Nation MN loves to put an exclamation point on her sister Stella’s sets.  She can place a roll shot to the middle or turn line.  Olivia’s go-to lately seems to be using the blockers hands whether just using the top edges or directly bouncing off the sides to send the ball flying out of bounds.

Wayzata was the repeat Class AAAA State Champions and that was in big part due to the dynamic attack of pins, Olivia Swenson Olivia Swenson Olivia Swenson 6'3" | OH Wayzata | 2024 State #98 Nation MN , Avery Jesewitz Avery Jesewitz Avery Jesewitz 6'4" | OH Wayzata | 2024 State #175 Nation MN , and the distributor, Stella Swenson Stella Swenson Stella Swenson 6'1" | S Wayzata | 2024 State #8 Nation MN .  This Junior trio is unstoppable.  Olivia was injured during the 2021 season but since then has garnered honors such as JVA Watchlist, AVCA Phenom Watchlist, Class AAAA All-State Team and Class AAAA State All-Tournament Team.  She also made her verbal commitment to Minnesota and made the MN Select 18-1 team.  This Swenson is gearing up to do some serious damage on the court this winter.
