The Future is Here – 2024 Class Vol 15

<p>We would love to officially welcome the 2024 class to the Prep Dig State Rankings.  We are going to restart this series that we began this past spring with the freshman class of 2024.  We have covered some in the Houston area already but are back again because they have a ton of really talented players on our State Rankings List.  We are extremely excited to cover this class now that they have had their high school season complete.  We have been very active in communicating with College Recruiting Directors all over the state so that we can bring the best to the eyes of the college coaches we have in our database that read our articles.  So without further ado, here are a few more of the standouts from the 2024 class from Houston.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124153" first="Jaela" last="Auguste"] [2024] 6-0 Middle (HS: Grand Oaks/Club: TAV Houston/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Please welcome Jaela as we currently have her ranked as the 42^ndbest prospect overall in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings.  She plays high school volleyball at Grand Oaks High School for Head Coach Morgan Rogers and also club for TAV Houston.  Miss Auguste is a multi-sport athlete who excels at track and field also.  She is an amazing high jumper, which also translates into the volleyball game by helping her with attacking and blocking.  She has lots of natural power and tons of raw athleticism that will propel her into stardom on the court as she continues to progress.  Jaela is learning all of the routes on the route tree for a middle and is a show stopper with a slide behind the setter.  Her blocking is something that any casual observer notices as its hard not to with her long wingspan and quick footwork to close out on the attacker.  Please help us welcome Miss August to the State Rankings as we are excited to cover her this club season and for the future.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124137" first="Laney" last="Blake"][2024] 5-5 Setter (HS: O’Connor/Club: SA Magic/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Please welcome Laney as we currently have her ranked as the 43^rdbest overall prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings.  Miss Blake is a talented setter from the San Antonio area who plays at O’Connor HS and also for San Antonio Magic for one of their top teams. She is currently on JV but will likely be in the running to make varsity next season. The ball comes out of her hands super fast on her setting release.  She squares her feet up nicely on in-system plays and is extremely fast to track down out of system balls as well.  Her posture and allows her to set all hitters very consistently.  We are excited to have her in the Prep Dig Family and are excited to watch her progress on the court.  Please welcome her to the Prep Dig family and congratulate her on being ranked with the top players in the great state of Texas. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124155" first="Molly" last="Cravens"] [2024] 6-1 Middle (HS: Round Rock/Club: Texas Fury/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Please welcome Molly as we currently have her ranked as the 50^thbest prospect overall in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings.  Miss Cravens is a tall and skilled middle from the Central Texas area.  She plays high school for Round Rock HS and also plays club for Texas Fury.  This young lady has a great frame for the position and puts up a very solid block against her opponents.  She is able to turn on the ball and hit a cut back shot with power to the zone 1 area.  We truly like the way she transitions off of the net and then drives toward her setter for the quick attack.  She has all of the tools to move up the rankings if she continues to progress.  We are excited to cover her for the future and can’t wait to see her progress.  Please welcome her to the Prep Dig family and congratulate her on being ranked amongst the best in the state. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>If you know of any other players or clubs that we need to cover, please email me at nov8vb@yahoo.com.
