A tall, left-handed setter, she was creative and unpredictable with her playmaking, moving her hitters around in combination plays and keeping all of them involved offensively. Mullican also showed great mobility to track passes off the net, remaining accurate with her locations even in out-of-system plays. The setter also contributed with her serving, always forcing opponents to move to get to the ball and limiting their passing accuracy.

Curtis played for the Dallas Skyline 17 Royal - Ping team that tied for fifth with five wins and three losses and secured their bid. A technical and intelligent setter, she kept the team's offense running at a quick pace when in system, constantly feeding her middles and working with quicker sets at the pin. Curtis also stood out for the ability to be more pragmatic and reliable in out-of-system plays, getting the ball to the pin with remarkable accuracy even when setting from well off the net. The setter made a positive impact on her team with her solid all-around game, contributing with key digs and consistently aggressive serving.

Having Jones as one of their setters, HJV 17 Elite ranked seventh in the tournament with five wins and four losses. The left-handed playmaker played only three rotations, but still managed to make an impact and stand out for them. Jones kept HJV's offense running in a smooth rhythm, using her middles when she could and remaining accurate with her sets to the pin. The setter did a good job of tracking passes off the net and getting to the ball early and was productive with her serving, too, pushing opponents and getting them out of system.

Albright and her AJV 17 Adidas team finished 15th in the division after earning five wins and three losses in Houston. The setter was a pillar in the team's playing system, making the most of her offensive options and keeping them in a strong offensive rhythm with her intelligent distribution and accurate locations. Albright was a stud on the back row for AJV, making an impact with her strategic and aggressive floaters and playing lights out on defense, showing impressive ball control to handle hard-driven swings. She would take on hitting duties at the net, showing great vision to beat blockers and defenders and put the ball down, and also contributed with her big, well-balanced blocking.
