<p>Region 2 features several talented young high school volleyball players, some of whom are from the Class of 2024.</p>
<p>Here are four 2024 Region 2 players on the rise.</p>
<p><strong>Rylee Owens</strong> is a freshman defensive specialist from Christian County High School. A solid all-around defensive player who covers the floor extensively, Owens made an impact for Christian County during her freshman campaign in 2020. Owens digs and pursues well while being a strong back row hitter. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="107412" first="Sarah" last="Peebles"]</strong> is a freshman outside hitter/defensive specialist from University Heights Academy. Versatile, Peebles excelled for University Heights Academy throughout the 2020 high school volleyball season. Peebles elevates well at the net and can take on the role of being a go-to hitter in addition to delivering defensively. </p>
<p><strong>Katie Perryman</strong> is a freshman hitter from Crittenden County High School. Productive, Perryman delivers at the net consistently. Perryman is athletic, capable of leading across the net and can contribute from both the front row and the back row regularly. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="128206" first="Riley" last="Smith"]</strong> is a freshman setter from Crittenden County High School. As a freshman during the 2020 high school volleyball season, Smith showed the ability to lead. Smith is a vocal leader who runs the offense efficiently and identifies opposing blockers well. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="107411" first="Taylor" last="Troutman"]</strong> is a freshman outside hitter/middle hitter from Henderson County High School. Consistent, Troutman was among the key contributors for Henderson County throughout the 2020 high school volleyball season. Troutman is an aggressive hitter and a strong blocker.</p>
