Clare Knoll- #95/ Club 1 15 Royal
Knoll has a solid swing and is not afraid to attack the ball. Her performance in her first few matches challenged her ability to work under pressure and she pushed through that, being front and attentive on attacks and moving swift across the net.
Isabella Rodriquez-#63/ Club 1 15 Royal
Rodriquez is most definitely one of the best defenders I have come across this weekend. Rodriquez is quick on her feet and is a diver on the court. She follows the movement of the ball and will dive deep into the floor and recover quick to reflect the ball from hitting the floor. She has an impressive form of movement in how she managed to cover such a wide area on the court, which is interesting to watch, because one thing about her is she is always going to be there.
Amanda Gregorio-#6/HVVC 15 Blue
Gregorio is a different type of athlete when it comes to how she performs on the court. Gregorio is one that needs more fundamental skills when it comes to her lifts and swings on the ball, but surprisingly her ability to life the ball over the net and tightly secure points is what has her holding the weight of her team.
Jasmine McMillin-#36/Top Flight 16 Gamma
McMillin is quick on her feet and is an athlete that moves across the court and makes sure that you see her. McMillin has a different type of talent, she communicates, she keeps the ball moving and he swing ability is very impressive. Being able to watch McMillin on day 2, she is a consistent athlete and doesn’t let up when she is performing on the court.
Alicia Ochoa-#35/Top Flight 16 Gamma
Ochoa is a very active athlete on the court. Ochoa has been active on both days when it comes to her defense and her ability to follow that ball at any given moment. Ochoa is quick and responsive and that shows the fundamental training that she has. When she is on the court, she’s quick, but you can’t miss her on the court and that is the great thing about her. Once you see her, you can’t take your eyes off of her.
