There will be some hidden gems showcased this Saturday, June 12 at 7:00 pm MDT at the Western Nebraska All-Star Game at WNCC Cougar Palace in Scottsbluff. Both teams will have six practices ahead of Saturday’s game. Coaches are able to nominate up to two players from their own team and then the All-Star coaches select the 13 players for the team is how the selection process works for this particular game.

The head coach for the West All-Stars will be Sidney’s Julie Smith and her assistant will be Hay Springs Lisa Hughes-Merritt. Smith commented on how she felt about the upcoming game, "I am excited to have another opportunity to work with my girls (Karly and Morgan), as well as get to know and coach the girls who I coached against last season. Along with that, I’m excited to see how those who were competing against each other for years gel together as a team and what they bring to the court!" Smith was impressed with how many players had committed to playing volleyball or another collegiate sport. Out of her 13 players 8 are going on to play either volleyball or another sport at the next level. Here is a look at the West roster and if they are playing a sport collegiately:
