Five 2022 16th Region Middles to Watch
<p style="text-align: left;">Senior setters will be among the 16th Region’s top players in the 2021 high school volleyball season.</p>
<p>Here are five 2022 16th Region middles to watch. </p>
<p><strong>Caroline Adkins</strong> is a senior middle hitter from Greenup County High School. Agile, Adkins has shown the ability to execute fast attacks. A stout hitter, Adkins blocks well, both individually and with teammates. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68115" first="Bailey" last="Brashear"]</strong> is a senior middle hitter from Rowan County High School. A longtime leader, Brashear is a productive player who excels along the middle of the net. Athletic, Brashear moves well from side to the side.</p>
<p><strong>Christin Corey</strong> is a senior middle hitter/outside hitter from Russell High School. Versatile, Corey can deliver as a middle hitter and from the left side of the net. Corey elevates well at the net and is a strong hitter. </p>
<p><strong>Macie Hughes</strong> is a senior middle blocker from Fleming County High School. Consistent, Hughes closes blocks well with the opposite hitter and the outside hitter. Hughes reads the setter successfully and produces with attacks. </p>
<p><strong>Rebecca Stevens</strong> is a senior middle hitter from West Carter High School. Reliable, Stevens uses quick attacks on offense routinely and is an aggressive blocker. Stevens provides a strong presence along the middle of the net.</p>
