Harmony Sample Harmony Sample 5'11" | S Hebron | 2022 State #50 Nation TX [2022] 5-11 Setter (HS: Hebron/Club: Texas Advantage/Verbal: Notre Dame)
Please welcome Harmony to the 2022 Prep Dig State Rankings. We have her listed as the 23rd best overall prospect and 4th best setter in the state. Miss Sample has been on our radar as a player to watch for a while and we needed a little more time to place her in the list. She is a super setter who has been rocking it for a while now. She plays for Hebron High School and also club for TAV. We were able to watch her in person at the GJNC in Vegas this summer and were very impressed with what we saw. The Notre Dame commit has been recognized by many publications over the years for her stellar play. She is a dual threat as she can dish the ball with the best of them and also attack on the pins at a high level. She is extremely athletic and very quick to track the ball down. The lengthy setter always keeps teams off-balance when she jump sets in the front row due to her size and ability to go over on two. We will be covering her senior season closely as her Hebron team is looking very good this year. We are excited to welcome her to the Prep Dig Rankings. Please congratulate her on all of her achievements and stay tuned to more articles on her play.
Casey Batenhorst Casey Batenhorst 6'1" | S Seven Lakes | 2022 State TX [2022] 6-1 Setter (HS: Seven Lakes/Club: Houston Juniors /Verbal: Southern Methodist University)
Please welcome Casey to the 2022 Prep Dig State Rankings. We have her listed as the 30th best prospect in the state. Miss Batenhorst is a stud setter from the Katy area who plays at Seven Lakes High School and also for Houston Juniors Volleyball club. She is committed to playing at the next level with Southern Methodist University and will be a star for them when she suits up next season. This young lady helped guide her high school team to a UIL State Championship last year and will look to go on another deep run this season with her squad. She is no stranger to success as she has been to Nationals each year with her awesome Houston Juniors club team. This young lady has the frame and volleyball IQ to lead any team she is on. Her length allows her to be a great weapon to any team as she is not a liability when in the front row. Her blocking is a huge asset also. We are happy to have her in the Prep Dig family now and will be watching her senior season closely and reporting on her play. Please help us congratulate her on her State Ranking.
Emily Canaan Emily Canaan 5'8" | DS/L Allen | 2022 State #48 Nation TX [2022] 5-8 Libero (HS: Allen/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Florida)
Please welcome Emily to the 2022 Prep Dig State Rankings. We have her listed as the 42nd best overall prospect and 3rd best libero in the state. She plays for Allen High School and also for a great club program in Dallas Skyline. Emily recently committed to play volleyball in the SEC at the University of Florida. Her serve receive is stellar and she always keeps her team’s offense in-system. Miss Canaan is also a great defensive player and she showed us with her play that she deserved to be on our State Rankings as we watched her team compete this summer at USA Junior Nationals. I love her footwork and court awareness as she was always in a great position to make a play for her team. Her great defensive range is showcased often as not many balls fall when they are attacked close to her zone. Please welcome her to the State Rankings and congratulate her on this great achievement. Stay tuned for more articles that showcase her abilities.
