Prep Dig Tok - "Choose Your Character"

I'm not going to attempt to “Create Content” on Tik Tok, but I do dabble in Tik Tok as well as keeping up with the trends. I won't be doing an “OOTD” in honor of Bama Rush Tok, but I may have a few tricks up my sleeve in blending Tik Tok and the Prep Dig World Together with “Choose Your Character”. I will be describing the attributes of players in multiple states, most of whom are uncommitted which would be an asset at the next level. A first contact is so important, but its also the anticipation with the efficient footwork, making plays when its matters most, and even making the relatively difficult plays look easy. This athlete will be able to take over matches swinging from the outside, but also passing and being an outlet out of the backrow. They also have intangibles that are tough to measure because they just find a way to pull a team together to get it done. They are young, but fearless. They bring a different dynamic to the right side. They not only are left handed, but they are dynamic. They might be able to attack off one foot, they can provide a swing out of the backrow, they just make it a point to be effective. What lefty are you choosing? This time we are going for a fast twitch, fast middle who can really get from pin to pin. They are quick, they have a fast arm, and they can attack off of one foot. They might not be the towering middle that is 6'4, but they know how to read the other side of the net, recognize their hitters, and can connect with their setter. These middles know how to make an impact. This type of setter puts the ball on the money for their attackers. They might not be extremely offensive, but they know how to get a one on one where their attackers can flat-out dominate. These types of setters need to know what the other side of the net is doing defensively and what matchups will be in favor - then factor in tempo, placement, and types of shots their attackers will need to make. We have plenty in mind and here are a few from the Class of 2022 and 2023.
