<p>The 16th Region features several talented middles from the Class of 2022.</p>
<p>Middle blockers and middle hitters are among the most talented high school volleyball players in the 16th Region, helping to lead squads across northeastern Kentucky. </p>
<p>Here are four 2022 16th Region middles to watch.</p>
<p><strong>Caroline Adkins</strong> is a senior middle blocker for Greenup County High School. Adkins moves well from side to side and provides a strong presence along the middle of the net. Able to execute fast attacks routinely, Adkins delivers from her position consistently. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68115" first="Bailey" last="Brashear"]</strong> is a senior middle blocker for Rowan County High School. A longtime leader for her high school team, Brashear is a consistent player. Brashear reads the setter successfully and closes blocks with both the opposite hitter and the outside hitter well. </p>
<p><strong>MaKayla Clark</strong> is a senior middle blocker for Raceland High School. Clark reads the setter and adjusts her approach to get the most out of attacks. Athletic, Clark uses quick attacks on offense regularly. </p>
<p><strong>Christin Corey</strong> is a senior middle blocker for Russell High School. Corey is agile, shows her athleticism often and possesses versatility. A player with a diverse skill set who can deliver as an outside hitter, Corey is a productive blocker. </p>
