After the first month and close to the halfway mark, we decided to glance around the state to see who is feeding their hitters the most with success! As we examined the kill leaders earlier this week, don’t be surprised to see some of their favorite teammates on this list.

[player_tooltip player_id="120038" first="Tori" last="Creason"] - Jr. - Shawnee Mission Northwest: 461

At exactly 10 assists per set, Creason is doing her part in helping her team find success. A player we noticed on the club scene last year, her strengths have been ball placement and decision making.

Adrian Hazelwood - So. - Smoke Valley: 424

The sophomore has been dynamic in Smoke Valley’s 19-3 start to the season. She has been steady with a 27 assists performance and numerous in the mid-20s.

[player_tooltip player_id="123103" first="Kirsten" last="Evans"] - Sr. - Ottawa: 409

The senior is looking to put an exclamation mark on her final year for Ottawa. She is averaging just over 9 assists per set and has her team winning 3 out of their last 4 contests.

Morgan Compton - Jr. - Riverton: 402

We mentioned one of their dynamic hitters in our last state leader article. Compton is an important reason why. Riverton is 20-1 and the junior setter has been a catalyst in the team’s success with her playmaking abilities.

Maci Hazel - Jr. Heritage Christian Academy: 401

Heritage Christian is attempting to run it back in 2021 and Hazel may be the main reason that happens. The junior is dishing out 10.5 assists per set, second in the state in terms of average. She has a season-high of 49 in a 4 set win over Pembroke Hill.
