<p>After winning the Kentucky 2A Championship, Lexington Catholic will carry momentum into the remainder of the 2021 high school volleyball season while featuring multiple standouts.</p>
<p>A perennial title contender, Lexington Catholic is currently 20-5. In mid-October, Lexington Catholic will compete in the 43rd District Volleyball Tournament. </p>
<p>Here are three Lexington Catholic players to watch.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="104537" first="Avery" last="Alexander"]</strong> is a senior outside hitter/right side. A strong hitter from either side of the net, Alexander possesses solid jumping ability. Able to deliver as a go-to hitter and a primary passer, Alexander boasts quality back row skills. Alexander adjusts to sets coming from any location successfully while delivring as a hitter from both the front row and the back row. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="156628" first="Emily" last="Fraim"]</strong> is a senior setter/right side. Athletic and quick, Fraim is a precise passer and covers the court extensively. Fraim is a vocal leader with strong communication skills and has shown the ability to run the offense efficiently. Able to make quick decisions on the court routinely, Fraim identifies blockers efficiently and is comfortable playing on various parts of the court. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="104538" first="Lucy" last="Wedding"]</strong> is a senior outside hitter. Agile, Wedding is a solid all-around high school volleyball player who possesses solid back row skills. A productive hitter, Wedding completes attack hits regularly and has displayed strong jumping ability on the left side of the net. In addition, Wedding works well with middle hitters on blocks. </p>
