<p>Saturday’s Best of the East Tournament is going to have talent galore.</p>
<p>A number of future Division 1 college standouts will be on display.</p>
<p>Among the best of the best will be a crop of outside hitters that can compete anywhere in the nation. This event alone has five Miss Volleyball finalists at the outside hitter position.</p>
<p>Here’s the OH’s you can be sure to check out this weekend.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="24846" first="Ava" last="Brizard"], Marian: </strong>This Miss Volleyball finalist has set the standard for the position in the Class of 2022. She can do it all and plays with more intensity than anyone you’ll find. Now over 1,800 kills in her career, the future N.C. State outside is hitting .444 on the year for a deep Marian squad.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="24853" first="Evelyn" last="Doezema"], Grand Rapids Christian: </strong>Getting her chance to be a go-to hitter for GRC in 2021, Doezema hasn’t disappointed. The Miss Volleyball finalist has 418 kills while hitting .337 over just 52 sets. Doezema will be playing at Michigan State next fall.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="24871" first="Maradith" last="O’Gorman"], Lakewood: </strong>Another Miss Volleyball finalist, the towering O’Gorman has been one of the state’s best for years. She’s constantly improving her all-around play to go with an elite attack and blocking game. O’Gorman is a future Michigan State Spartan.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="24859" first="Taylor" last="Humphrey"], Byron Center: </strong>The Miss Volleyball finalist is having another dominant year, with 338 kills over 74 sets. She’s well over 1,000 for her career and is definitely a sight to see on the court. She is committed to Rutgers.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="24881" first="Sydney" last="Tomlak"], Stoney Creek: </strong>Tomlak is shouldering a lot for the inexperienced Cougars this year, but you can never question this Miss Volleyball finalists’ heart. She does it all on the court and can deliver the powerful kill with the best of them. She’s headed to Duke next fall.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="24852" first="Jada" last="Divita"], Grosse Pointe South: </strong>The 6-foot senior has really been raising her stock in the last year. She’s got a great reach and brings a lot of explosiveness to the GP South offense. DiVita is committed to Lipscomb.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="24857" first="Bianca" last="Giglio"], Notre Dame Prep: </strong>The Irish are loaded this year and Giglio and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="137573" first="Sophia" last="Sudzina"] </strong>are a perfect 1-2. Each is right with the other in terms of hitting and finishing rate. Giglio is heading to Marshall next fall. She’s really upped her intensity and power in the last year.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="66314" first="Kennedy" last="Louisell"], Forest Hills Northern: </strong>Louisell doesn’t have the size of a lot of others on this list, but she can deliver. Her back-row attacks are up there with anyone, as she’s got pinpoint location with a lot of velocity.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="66316" first="Remi" last="Madison"], Grand Blanc: </strong>Madison is an explosive player that is capable of making plays all over the court. She’s quick with her reaction time, but also has a technically sound swing that is able to bring a lot of speed to her attacks.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="108716" first="Emily" last="May"], Coopersville: </strong>The 6’1” May started as a middle, but has transitioned over to the outside over the last year and is excelling. She’s got the length and athleticism to make plays on both sides of the net and be a real problem for opponents this weekend.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="108761" first="Cece" last="Pelak"], Mattawan: </strong>This junior is putting up big kill numbers in 2021, with 357 as of this writing. She’s got Mattawan with ahigh win total and could be one of the players looking to steal the show on Saturday.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="92065" first="Julia" last="Fledderjohn"], Lakeland: </strong>Fledderjohn is a really athletic and energetic player on the court. She’s got great swings, but also is able to adapt to out-of-system balls.</p>
