The fifth week of high school play has come to a close so now it is time to spotlight some players who did BIG things as a top performer for their team this past week.

Check back next week for week six top performers!

(Players are listed in alphabetical order)

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="91253" first="Leah" last="Agost"], 6’2”, OH, Clackamas High School, Adidas NW Jrs.

The Clackamas High School Cavaliers team looks a lot different this season with the creation of Nelson High School taking a portion of their varsity athletes. However, their confidence in senior Agost has remained steadfast. On the team since her sophomore season, she is an offensive weapon. In last week’s three matches, she racked up an impressive 56 kills on 136 swings, hitting a .301, and also had 9 service aces, 1 block, and 37 digs.

Last club season she played for Adidas NW Juniors 18-1 team.

Agost is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2022.

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="91229" first="Sophie" last="Biehler"], 5’7”, DS, Tualatin High School, Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy

The senior libero turned six-rotation outside hitter Biehler showcased a stellar week of play for the Tualatin High School Timberwolves. Trained as a defensive specialist, she is playing a different role for the team, but is doing so with great success. She walked away from week five with 41 kills, 41 digs, and 5 aces. Her coach commended her smart net play, solid defense, and leadership as a key piece of the Timberwolves’ success.

Last club season she played for OJVA 18-2 Blue.

Biehler is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2022.

2023 Emily Blagg, 5’9”, MB, McNary High School, North Pacific Juniors

The junior middle blocker Blagg is dominating at the net for the McNary High School Celtics, with a hitting efficiency of over 400% for the last three matches. She is also a top performer in blocking and service aces for the team. Her coach praised her ability to make every touch count and how efficient she is which shows with her impressive statistics.

Last club season she played for NPJ 16-1 National.

Blagg is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2023.

2023 [player_tooltip player_id="91369" first="Halsey" last="Brumitt"], 5’11”, OH/RS, Clackamas High School, Athena Volleyball Academy

The Clackamas High School Cavaliers junior outside attacker Brumitt is a force to be reckoned with this season. In last week’s three matches, she accumulated an impressive 73 kills on 162 swings, hitting a .323, had 3 service aces, a block, and 33 digs.

Last club season she played for Athena 16-1 Gold.

Brumitt is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2023.

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="91219" first="Elliott" last="Bush"], 5’10”, OH, Central Catholic High School

The Central Catholic High School Rams are in good hands both offensively and defensively with senior powerhouse Bush.
