2021 KVCA All-State Teams Announced

Ryle High School standout Lucy Trump Lucy Trump OH Ryle | 2022 State #38 Nation KY is the 2021 Ms. Kentucky Volleyball. Trump, a senior
outside hitter who is committed to the University of Notre Dame, led her team with 463
kills and a .295 hitting percentage. With Trump leading the way, Ryle was ranked among the Top 5 high school volleyball teams in the state. Trump is the first KVCA Ms. Kentucky Volleyball from Ryle High School.

Sacred Heart Academy senior libero Emily Young Emily Young DS/L Sacred Heart | 2022 State KY is the 2021 KVCA Defensive Player
of the Year. Young received the award after recording nearly 440 digs and averaging over
four digs per set heading into the State Tournament quarterfinals.

Sacred Heart Academy Coach Brett Versen is the 2021 KVCA Coach of the Year. Versen coached Sacred Heart Academy to the Region 7 title and the squad is currently competing in the State Tournament semifinals.
