Patria Moreno (Barnegat)
When it came down to it, the best player on the court in the Wall/Barnegat final showed up and showed out. Moreno did everything she could to ensure her team would not be denied after losing the first set. She had four kills, 17 digs and 22 kills. As expected, she put on a passing/setting master-class.
Sophia Koval (Colts Neck)
Koval was in total command of the Colts Neck offense. It looked effortless out there for her and every set was the correct play and she kept Brick Memorial guessing throughout the match. Her six digs, 28 assists and two aces showcases her importance to her team’s success. Another master-class performance.
Annabelle He Annabelle He DS/L Ridgewood | 2022 State NJ (Ridgewood)
He was on her A-game from the first point as Ridgewood came out victorious. She was punishing Clifton from anywhere on the court and utilizing all of the shots in her bag to ensure victory. Not only that she showed off her passing ability in the back row with a complete performance of 16 kills and seven digs.
Jocelyn Rodriguez (Rutherford)
Rodriguez is on this list for Rutherford but her team came up short losing to Verona. She left it on the floor with eight kills, 16 digs, an assist and an ace. She was flying all over the court making plays for her team. Her live arm was there, her athleticism to help her offensively and defensively. A performance that won’t be forgotten even though they lost.
