<p>Thursday’s regional championships gave players a chance to shine on a big stage.</p>
<p>Below are some of the standout performers during the championship contests.</p>

<h4><strong>Division 1</strong></h4>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="137571" first="Mackenzie" last="Delacher"], Sr. S Rockford: </strong>Delacher had 31 assists, six digs and five aces to help lead the Rams to a 25-23, 25-14, 25-22 win over Forest Hills Central.</p>
<p><strong>Eva Joldersma, Sr. OH Hudsonville: </strong>Joldersma had seven kills, but also tallied a team-high 23 digs to lead the Eagles to a 25-15, 25-19, 25-17 win over Portage Northern.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="60851" first="Juliana" last="Imbuzeiro"], Sr. S Northville: </strong>Imbuzerio had the Mustangs hitting nearly .300 as a team in a 25-15, 25-15, 25-22 win over Saline. She finished with 25 assists, 14 digs, seven kills and two aces.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="66338" first="Emma" last="Thamarus"], Jr. OH Dakota: </strong>Thamarus led the Dakota attack on Thursday with 14 kills, as the Cougars topped Troy 25-16, 25-18, 25-17.</p>
<h4><strong>Division 2</strong></h4>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="24853" first="Evelyn" last="Doezema"], Sr. OH Grand Rapids Christian: </strong>There wasn’t many performances that could stack up to Doezema on Thursday. She had 42 of GRC’s 59 kills, while hitting .363 on the night. She also added 15 digs in GRC’s 22-25, 25-20, 29-27, 25-13 win over Unity Christian.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="110314" first="Carissa" last="Musta"], Soph. MH Cadillac: </strong>Musta was dominant up front for Cadillac, picking up a team-high nine kills and seven blocks to lead the Vikings past Alma 25-22, 21-25, 25-10, 25-14.</p>
<p><strong>Kaela Chingwa, Soph. MH North Branch: </strong>Chingwa hit an impressive .588 on Thursday, racking up 10 kills and five blocks to lead the Broncos to a 25-20, 25-17, 25-18 win over Birch Run.</p>
<p><strong>Ruby Foster, Sr. MH Onsted: </strong>Another impressive middle-hitting performance came from Foster, who had 13 kills and 10 blocks to lead the Wildcats to a 25-15, 25-20, 25-18 win over Dundee.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="137573" first="Sophia" last="Sudzina"], Sr. OH Notre Dame Prep: </strong>With the Irish without some key hitters, Sudzina took on the lead role Thursday with 15 kills while hitting .407 in NDP’s 25-16, 25-14, 25-13 win over Marysville.</p>
<p><strong>Jillian Bruckner, Jr. OH/MH Niles: </strong>Bruckner led an energized Niles effort with 12 kills, 12 service points, four blocks and three aces. Niles came away with a 25-18, 27-25, 25-16 win over Three Rivers.</p>
<h4><strong>Division 3</strong></h4>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="60835" first="Kyla" last="Wiersema"], Sr. MH WMC: </strong>Wiersema continued her impressive 2021 season by racking up 23 kills and five blocks to lead WMC to a 19-25, 25-18, 25-10, 25-14 win over NorthPointe Christian.</p>
<p><strong>Margaret Jones, Jr. OH Royal Oak Shrine: </strong>Jones led a dominant Shrine effort with eight kills, eight digs and three aces as the Knights ran past Sandusky 25-10, 25-13, 25-10.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="24850" first="Kate" last="Collingsworth"], Sr. S SMCC: </strong>The Kestrels had a balanced offense in a five-set thriller with Brooklyn Columbia Central thanks to Collingsworth, who had 53 assists for SMCC. The Kestrels earned a 25-18, 21-25, 14-25, 25-20, 17-15 victory.</p>
<p><strong>Emma Schierbeek, Sr. OH McBain: </strong>Schierbeek put up nine kills, nine digs and two blocks to lead McBain past Beaverton 25-21, 25-15, 25-20.</p>
<h4><strong>Division 4</strong></h4>
<p><strong>Maddie Munley, Sr. MH Sacred Heart: </strong>Munley put up 21 kills while hitting a dominant .531 for the Irish in a 25-12, 21-25, 25-15, 25-17 win over Tri-unity Christian.</p>
<p><strong>Isabelle Kirkendall, Jr. OH Lenawee Christian: </strong>Kirkendall had 15 kills with eight digs to lead Lenawee Christian to a 25-20, 25-16, 25-8 win over Hillsdale Academy.</p>
<p><strong>Ali Bettinger, Sr. OH Inter-City Baptist: </strong>In a highly-competitive regional final, Bettinger came through with 11 kills, but also had five key aces to lead Inter-City Baptist over Plymouth Christian 25-20, 25-21, 15-25, 27-25.</p>
