2023 Rankings Update: Newcomers

Multiple talented newcomers have been added to the updated PrepDig Oregon Class of 2023 Rankings. Six recruits made it into the top 50 2023 rankings... A three-year varsity starter for the South Medford High School Panthers, she is an offensive weapon for the team. This past season Clevenger received Southwest First Team All-League. She will be returning to play for Spiketown Volleyball Club this club season. Clevenger is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2023. A three-year varsity athlete for the Crater High School Comets, she takes big swings for the team, consistently an impact player. This past season Kocina received Midwestern First Team All-League. She will be returning to play for Spiketown Volleyball Club this club season. Kocina is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2023. A three-year varsity starter for the Willamina High School Bulldogs, she is a critical aspect to the team’s line-up and played a vital role in helping the team reach the 3A Quarterfinals, where the Bulldogs lost to the State champs, Burns. Hughes received Coastal Range Player of the Year and Coastal Range First Team All-League and was a 3A Second Team All-State selection. She will be playing for Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy this season. Hughes is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2023. A two-year varsity athlete for the McNary High School Celtics, she received Mountain Valley Honorable Mention this season. Blagg will be returning to play for North Pacific Juniors 17-1 National. Blagg is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2023. A two-year varsity starter for the West Albany High School Bulldogs, she was a key player in helping the Bulldogs win the 5A State Championship this past season. She received Mid-Willamette First Team All-League this past season. Zimmermann will be returning to play for North Pacific Juniors 17-1 National. Zimmerman is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2023. A two-year varsity starter for the Cascade High School Cougars, she was a go-to attacker for the team all season long. Benolken was a critical component to the team winning the 4A State Championship this season and was awarded Moda Health Player of the Game for her stellar performance. She was also selected for the 4A All-Tournament Team and made Oregon West First Team All-League this season. Benolken will be returning to play for North Pacific Juniors 17-1 National. Benolken is currently not committed to a school for the fall of 2023.
