This may have been one of the toughest groups of players you will see all season! These 2024 pins are absolutely insane. Some of the nations very best was here to showcase what they got and it was quite the show!

From the top rated recruit in the country, [player_tooltip player_id="66319" first="Harper" last="Murray"], to some stellar under-the-radar attackers. Rock N Rumble had it all and I was just running around like a kid in a candy store! These girls are bonkers and it made for some of the most premier volleyball in the country.

To take a look at these elite players, we had to break it down to two parts. Take a look at part one of the 21 power pins at Rock N Rumble’s 17 Open.

Safi Hampton (2023) | 6’0 OH | Metro VBC

Floating like a butterfly, but stinging like a bee. This is a bee sting I want no part of, but would gladly watch! Safi Hampton is a new find this weekend and what a find she was. Hampton is a big player that can fly above the net so high. The heat coming off her arm is so hot, it’s impossible to defend. The North Carolina commit was on her best game all weekend long and oh so good!

Ava Carney (2023) | 6’2 OH | Pittsburgh Elite

Wasn’t sure if I was watching volleyball or The Avengers because Ava Carney can FLY! Carney was sending missiles down all weekend long and doing it so effortlessly. One of Pittsburgh Elite’s top prospects, this Wake Forest commit isn’t only putting the ball down at a high level, but she was one of the best passers and pin blockers I saw all weekend long.

[player_tooltip player_id="106668" first="Sydney" last="Helmers"] (2023) | 6’5 OH | KIVA

6’5 is already a formidable advantage over the competition, but once in flight, it’s game over. [player_tooltip player_id="106668" first="Sydney" last="Helmers"] was crushing it at Rock N Rumble all weekend long. She’s big and she’s physical! The Texas commit has such a high contact, she was often times hitting over the top of the block throughout the weekend with ease.

[player_tooltip player_id="156594" first="Julia" last="McNeley"] (2022) | 5’8 OH | KIVA

She may be small, but she don’t play like it! [player_tooltip player_id="156594" first="Julia" last="McNeley"] is a tank. One of KIVA’s consistent boppers, she was killing it! McNeley is often used for her steady ball control, but she can bring the heat too. Not only at the net, but watch out from the service line! This top spin serve is not for the faint of heart!

[player_tooltip player_id="111875" first="Olivia" last="Fish"] (2023) | 6’2 OH | KIVA

Another key pin for KIVA, [player_tooltip player_id="111875" first="Olivia" last="Fish"] has had her fair share of spinach. Often times appearing on the right side, Fish boasts a heavy cross body shot. She swings hard and she has a keen eye on tooling the opponent’s block. When her number is called, Fish was answering in a loud way.

Elizabeth MacIntosh (2023) | 6’3 OH | MVA

She’s a steady force to be reckoned with and she’ll get ya when you least expect it. Elizabeth MacIntosh was getting her share of swings this weekend and deservedly so. MacIntosh has a great arm and sees the court really well. She was able to make some great plays on balls that most would free ball over.

[player_tooltip player_id="108759" first="Raegan" last="Lantz"] (2023) | 6’3 OH | MVA

Right alongside MacIntosh, [player_tooltip player_id="108759" first="Raegan" last="Lantz"] was getting hers with this pin heavy offense. Lantz was definitely a go-to for obvious reasons, she was one of the fastest pins to see all weekend. Not only was she quick to get on top of the ball and bang away, but her court defense was outstanding. Not just back court, but off-blocker coverage and transition was spot on.

[player_tooltip player_id="112088" first="Katie" last="Smith"] (2023) | 6’0 OH | Legacy

This Legacy 17s program is so deep that even their 2s team was balling alongside some of the best in the country. [player_tooltip player_id="112088" first="Katie" last="Smith"] was really making some noise this weekend leading this squad to a silver division runner up finish. Smith has a great contact of the ball and showed to have some tough angles up her sleeve.

[player_tooltip player_id="66338" first="Emma" last="Thamarus"] (2023) | 5’11 OH | Legacy

Right alongside Smith, [player_tooltip player_id="66338" first="Emma" last="Thamarus"] was showing some smoke on her guns this weekend. Thamarus is a sharp shooter and has a complete game to keep this Legacy’s team offense flowing. She’s paired with high school teammate and setter, [player_tooltip player_id="108718" first="Erin" last="Madigan"]. A connection that just keeps getting better and better, they were in tune all weekend long.

Adrienne Staib (2023) | 6’1 OPP | High Performance

High Performance didn’t have the best of outings at Rock N Rumble, but Adrienne Staib was a definite bright spot to see on the court. HP’s big arm on the squad, she was used quite often to score and was doing quite well for her team. Being used in a 6-2 offense, she was able to lock and load every other three rotations and came in to deliver.
