The four-month tournament is typically the stage for some intriguing battles and is where players go beyond their limits to perform and chase victories.
This year’s edition of the Power League has started in early January and over the course of the month and each division has played at least one stop (or the seeding day). The 18s Division, which combines 17s and 18s teams from the Evergreen State is one of the most advanced with two rounds already completed.
This week, we’ll highlight some of the teams that had the best performances in the division so far, starting with DaKine Warriors 17 Surf, the only undefeated side in the tournament with seven wins and just one set dropped.

Hailey Brockway Hailey Brockway 6'0" | OH Graham-Kapowskin | 2023 State #125 Nation WA – Outside Hitter/Libero – HS: Graham-Kapowsin – 2023
One of the most coveted prospects in the state of Washington, Hailey Brockway Hailey Brockway 6'0" | OH Graham-Kapowskin | 2023 State #125 Nation WA leads DaKine Warriors 17 Surf with her intense and productive game. The six-footer is an outside hitter with tremendous firepower and her ability to score from anywhere on the court has led to great things at both the high school and club levels. Brockway can not only hit from different places but she’s also got a handful of different shots and is unpredictable at the net. She’s been playing as a libero at the start of the club season. An Illinois State commit, she’s coming from an excellent high school campaign with Graham-Kapowsin in which she registered 582 kills, 67 aces, 31 blocks, 251 digs and 239 passes.
Sophia Baugh – Setter – HS: North Kitsap – 2023
A good team typically starts with a good setter and DaKine Warriors 17 Surf leaves nothing to be desired in that area with Sophia Baugh. The 5’9” playmaker has great touch on the ball and likes to play fast and put her hitters in a great position to score. Baugh is extremely creative, yet consistent, giving her team a lot of options to work with. She made it to the Washington Coaches Association All-State second team during the last high school season, when she produced 731 assists, 326 digs, 108 kills, 56 aces and 25 blocks for North Kitsap.
Ivy Vindivich Ivy Vindivich 5'11" | OH Puyallup | 2023 State WA – Outside Hitter – HS: Puyallup – 2023
When a team has a player like Ivy Vindivich Ivy Vindivich 5'11" | OH Puyallup | 2023 State WA as its secondary scoring option, you know that’s a damn good team. The 5’11” outside hitter is extremely explosive and can produce as much as anyone in the state at the pin. She has long been a stud for her high school team Puyallup and has been asked to carry DaKine Warriors 17 Surf’s offensive load while Brockway plays as a libero. Her most recent high school stats of 365 kills, 37 aces, 34 blocks and 276 digs leave no doubt that she’s up for the task.
