Riess’s stock has risen since landing on our radar at the Prep Dig Top 250. She maximizes her opportunities and commands respect at the net with her physicality. Riess moves well and keeps herself balanced and consistent making her difficult to read.

Clark just made her way onto our radar and is steadily rising as one of the best in the 2024 class of Minnesota. Her athleticism and passion are difficult to match, and she has fast footwork and versatility in her setting tempo. Clark is a competitor and can distribute to her attackers with a variety along the net.

Izzy Saffert Izzy Saffert 5'6" | DS/L Benilde-St. Margaret's | 2024 State MN – 5’6 – Defensive Specialist/Libero – Benilde-St. Margaret – MN Select 16-1 – Prep Dig #30
Saffert does a great job of maximizing her on-court opportunities by utilizing her all-around play. She is one player who I wouldn’t doubt if she has some experience playing beach doubles. Saffert is quick and can get off the floor to take a calculated swing. She is a solid all-around player, creates smart angles with her platform, and stays balanced to allow quick pursuit and an expanded range on defense.

Madison Burr Madison Burr 6'2" | RS Cannon Falls | 2024 State MN – 6’1 – Middle Blocker – Cannon Falls – SMV 17-1 - Prep Dig #27
Burr is a fun player because she has such great athleticism, yet she still shows some raw talent left to be developed. I think she could have a really high ceiling, and as a 2024 prospect, she’s got time to continue to develop. Competing for Cannon Falls is a bonus for Burr because of the level of play around her, and the competition pushes her to play her very best. You will definitely want to keep an eye on her!

Makayda Aldrich Makayda Aldrich 6'0" | MB Brooklyn Center | 2024 State MN – 6’0 – Middle Blocker – Brooklyn Center – M1 16-1 – Prep Dig #38
Aldrich can take a heavy swing and work the angles around opposing blockers. She gets her feet to the ball and provides a balanced attack from the middle. Aldrich has height and a high contact point making her a handful for opposing defenders.

Nora Gruman Nora Gruman 5'10" | OH Eastview | 2024 State MN – 5’10 – Outside Hitter – Eastview – M1 16-1 – Prep Dig #40
One of Clark’s targets is Gruman, who provides a great presence on the pin with the ability to score with a heavy arm swing. She has sound timing and she can generate kills with a range in her attack patterns. Gruman works hard in transition and is effective out-of-serve-receive.
