[player_tooltip player_id="179096" first="Abby" last="Alms"] – 2025 – Middle Blocker – Brookfield East – 414 15 Elite

Alms does a great job of shooting her hands up and over the net quickly to keep the ball from entering her air space. She does a nice job taking up space for the defense.

[player_tooltip player_id="179097" first="Aubrey" last="Engles"] – 2025 – Outside Hitter/Defensive Specialist – Bay Port – One Wisconsin Bay 15 Mizuno

Engles’ serve works the seams and deep corners to score points and take teams out of system. She can hit effectively from either pin by working the edges of the block or finding the split. Engles also works hard in transition and makes smart choices by using the deep corners, even when the set isn’t quite there.

[player_tooltip player_id="178273" first="Brooklyn" last="Grisolono"] – 2025 – 5’8 – Pin Hitter – Kewaskum – Milwaukee Sting 16 White

Grisolono has a really great float serve that is super unpredictable and effective at taking teams out of system from the get-go. And even better, she is consistent with her serving! As a right side, she did a really nice job of getting her feet and body around the ball in order to make the tip to 4 happen and score a lot of points.

[player_tooltip player_id="178270" first="Ellie" last="Bruns"] – 2025 – 5’5 – Libero – Menomonee Falls – Milwaukee Sting 16 White

Bruns does a great job seeing the middle tip to 4, getting it up, and keeping it on her side of the net. She also does a great job of protecting her corner by cutting the attack off by using her hands. Bruns moves quickly across the floor and is about 5 steps ahead of other defenders, as well as being super solid in serve-receive. She is frustrating for opposing hitters but really fun to watch!

[player_tooltip player_id="178271" first="Kaitlyn" last="Connors"] – 2025 – 5’10 – Setter – Oconomowoc – Milwaukee Sting 16 White

Connors does a nice job of getting the ball out of her hands with a flick of the wrist. She turns her hands over quickly for the back set so it is difficult to read that she is going behind her until it’s too late. Connors also does a nice job getting planted at the net and works away from it when the pass is tight.

Sara Weber – 2025 – 5’7 – Setter – MVA 15 Blue (MI)

Weber consistently gets the ball out of her hands quickly and gives her hitters a ton of opportunities to crush the ball. She has fast feet to the ball and takes the ball at a high point. I really liked a lot of her setting choices, even if the accuracy isn’t always there quite yet, she always errors high and off so there is plenty of time and room for the hitters to adjust. Even her setter dump timing and placement was impressive for a young player.

[player_tooltip player_id="179098" first="Sydney" last="Katlaps"] – 2025 – 5’10 – Pin Hitter – Pewaukee – Milwaukee Sting 15 White

Katlaps fights hard in serve-receive to get a strong and simple platform. She takes care of the seams, short serves like a pro, and keeps her team in-system. Katlap is a consistent server and she takes a violent swing on the outside. She also sees the court well in order to place the ball in all four corners. Katlap does a really nice job reading the hitter, making a smart first step, and getting great touches on defense.
